Not too impressed yet. Wobble is a significant pro...

I got mine about 10 days ago. I managed to get it assembled after carefully reading the instructions I found online (but not included in the box). And viewing a few videos. I have tried to use it for my KTM 500 exc a couple of times on test rides around the neighborhood and am not happy yet. There is just too much wobble when going over minor bumps on paved streets. My first try was without the anti-wobble insert. But after adding it, the wobble was not appreciably better. I have gone thru and tightened all the pivot bolts a little. I read a few comments that stated that using the tie down on the handlebar was not too important. From reading the instructions I think maybe that is not true. I just purchased some good ratchet tie downs and will try this when the weather improves. I was also thinking of maybe trying to attach the lower end of the tie down to the bumper to help with the wobble. I did find a statement in the assembly instructions that this device is not meant to be used on rough dirt roads, just pavement and smooth gravel roads. I did not notice this in any of the product descriptions. I will try to report back on my attempts to fix the wobble.

  • Risk Racing Lock-N-Load Moto Transport System

    ★★★☆☆

    John in NY

    Lock and load let down.

Adequate but more of a pain to use than conventional motorcycle wheel chocks, seemed like a good idea but would not purchase them again. Can be a pain to lock into place, often takes 3-4 tries and can pop back up while trying to install the safety pins which are mandatory to keep them in place. Adjustable height should be mandatory, had to install wood planks to raise my dual sport KLX up enough to reach, probably better with taller dirt bikes. Once locked, the have held my bike securely during deer avoidance stops, though the wheel chocks held the other bike in the trailer as well.

    Gotta have it

Makes it so much easier to strap the bike down without cranking on the suspension. Works on my 300xcw and our TC85, so many sized bikes.

Small and compact, fits in my fender bag. I wish it was a little longer length.
