Hmmm Nice idea and quality built. Great for big bikes
The idea for this design and function is practical and beneficial. It wouldn’t work on my RM85 17” front rim fully, but it was useful.

Absolute Best Tool Purchase EVER MADE
Stop being a cheap-o and buy one of these immediately!

For years I have wrestled with tires on the floor, on buckets, or on my workbench. 2 tires would take me over an hour, not to mention smashing my knuckles, knees, shins, and back in the process. Finally I said enough is enough and bought a stand...HOLY CRAP.

With the right set of irons, bead buddy, and a little windex I can now have a tire swapped out in less than 10 minutes with this thing. Leverage is EVERYTHING when changing a tire, and this gives you the best leverage possible. Raising the wheel up to waist level to save your back on stubborn tires is a huge bonus too.

Do yourself a favor a grab a pair of Motion Pro BeadPRO levers and a Bead Buddy too. Invest in good tire tools, they will pay for themselves in a few changes.

Build quality is great for the price, super sturdy. I do need to put my foot on the legs when cranking down on a tire, but O feel like that is a given with really any stand. Breaks down easily to throw in your truck as well - I'll be taking this with me to the track or trail for sure.

Great purchase
I have never had a tire changing stand before and I didn't know what I was missing! This makes the tire changes much easier and therefore quicker. This was a great investment.

Makes tire changes much easier, especially if you're doing it by yourself. Don't have to keep wrestling the entire wheel...

Finally off the ground
Used to change tires on the ground or a 5 gallon bucket. This stand gets you up off the ground and I was able to stand while doing a tire change. I was also worried about stability, but it never felt tippy at all. Great stand!

Does it come with tire iron bar?
Rodrigo E on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: NO, it does not. I have found that the Tusk tire iron shown below works good. FYI this tire stand works well if you expansion bolt it to a concrete slab, such as the garage floor. Otherwise it can be a bit top heavy to use.

What size is the axel support shaft? Will it fit through older motorcycle wheel that have 17mm axels?
daniel t on Dec 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The wheel securing rod-shaft is 12.7mm with a large cone washer on top. I've used the stand on 50cc bikes up to 1200 bikes. One of most often used tools. My buddies all come to borrow it. Makes changing tires so much easier.
can the center bolt be removed so that the tire doesnt have to be dropped over it?
Jeffrey H on Dec 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it can be removed. IIRC, it is also adjustable for height.
What size is the center axle post? Between my bikes and the kids, I have axles sizes 12, 15, 17, 25, and 30mm!
Brian E on Jul 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I should also add you can easily remove the center rod, or lower it out of the way, watch your toes! You should have no issue with this. I've used it to change tires on my crf50 without issue.
Can I change a bib with this stand ?
Mark H on Aug 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have never changed a bib insert so I am not qualified to answer that. However it is a really good stand and I imagine if you were to bolted to the ground or secure it to the floor you could change any Tire with it. Of all my purchases for bike things throughout the years it is one of the best purchases I made
Will this also work for a quad tire?
A shopper on Jan 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would say no but I haven't tried. You may be able to use ur as a stand to get the atv tire on but I don't think there is any way you will break the bead to get the tire off of the wheel. I use a much heavier duty stand for vehicle tires to change atv tires.
will this work with the baja no pinch tire tool?
Kyle S on Oct 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have both and they work great together. The tire stand has a threaded rod that holds the wheel down. I use it one to dismount tires. Then for tire installs I remove it and use the Baja No Pinch tool. Works great.
How does this compare to the TUSK one which is $40 cheaper? They look almost the same.

MSR Tire Changing Stand
BEST ANSWER: I can't answer the question about the Tusk stand as I haven't seen one in person to compare? I can say that the MSR stand is very well built and is a life saver compared to the ground or work bench. I take it with me on all of our bike trips, it has become a part of my tools in the trailer. I have purchased several Tusk items and most of the time they work just fine for the weekend warrior, neither would probably stand up in a business setting. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I would recommend getting one or the other. MM
will it work with street tires?
A shopper on May 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I am really not sure if they work with street tires. I only used them with dirt bike tires and really worked well for that. Really saves my back. Maybe call tusk?
How much does it weight? Need to know for shipping to another country. Thanks!
Francisco F on Jan 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Probably around 10-15 pounds, 4.5-6.8kgs I would say. Mine is stored away in my trailer right now otherwise I could say it for you but it’s in that area for sure.
Will this work for atv tires?
Darius D on Feb 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will. You might want to consider one with a bead breaker for ATV tires
What is the measurement between legs of the stand? I’m trying to determine stability. I have a stand now that I believe has too narrow of a base and it is not very stable.
Erik A on Jun 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 20.5 inches is the distance between the legs.
Will this work for 85s?
Crystal S on Jun 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It will work with 10" rims and bigger.
Is there a bead breaker that you can purchase for this tire changer?
Preston T on Sep 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not included so You have to purchase separately- or use your knees/ work boots / rubber mallet.
