I like this brake lever but the swiveling point did not last as long as I thought it should. I am sure it is do to it being made out of aluminum. I went back to a stock KTM pedal.
I drilled out OEM pedal because it was flatend out. If you remove the ridge on the top of the lever arm and use a nut and carragie bolt it fits pretty good on OEM.
Good value item compared to some of the other brands. Particularly given the abuse they take and likely hood of having to repeat the exercise of replacement.. Easy to fit even if retro fitting to a different model bike...like i did.
Fitted to a Yamaha XT660z Tenere....you dont have this bike in the states....yet
I followed instructions from guy on internet that used these for a stock brake pedal and came out fairly well . looked like the high priced Hammerhead one that sells for 3X as much .
The Tusk rear brake pedal is strong and durable. the tip does wear out after a few years and this part brings your pedal back to new. Ingenious connection to the pedal (fit over the pin, then rotate into the groove). I've been using it for years.
This fit well, and has functioned perfectly. Don't know what else to say, except I'm glad in have this part on my bike. It's been there a few months, and still looks really good.
Good alternative to replacing a broken rear brake lever
My KTM 690 Enduro rear brake lever broke off in a soft step-off. Shouldn't have broken so easily but it did, as reported by others. Rather than spending $100-$200 for a replacement lever (most with a fixed/non-rotating or flexing toe), I tried simply adding this toe pad. With slight modification (grinding off a shallow ridge) I was able to bolt this rotating toe pad onto the end of the brake lever and it works just fine. Actually better since it now has a rotating toe pad instead of fixed. $30 fix instead of approaching $200 to replace the lever and add a rotating/flexing toe pad.
They are just as strong if not stronger than "name brand" products. Do not hesitate...you won't get a bigger bang for your buck and in most cases, your bang for the buck will be bigger with Tusk than with "name brand"!
Lost my previous one because I neglected to locktite the bolt or use the safety cable. Won't make that mistake again. This time I used a longer bolt with a nut, locktite and installed the safety cable. No issues this time. Red anodizing holding up very well. Great that replacement parts are available.

I easily modded this to fit the stock KTM rear brake lever and have done so on numerous years and models. Strong component that gives my big boot a better chance of actually hitting the brake pedal when it's needed...and now...it's fold away!

This replacement tip is worth the price just for the cool factor. In addition to that it is very functional, provides great grip on the brake pedal and matches my footpegs too!
The toe tip broke off of my Husqvarna. Even though it's not listed as a compatible bike, I just ordered one and figured I'd find a way to bolt it on, which I did. Works great.
I put this tip on my stock lever because I kept smashing the original tip! It was so much easier to hit with my foot. My only complaint is that my foot got caught underneath it a couple times. I filed the bottom to round it off a little bit and it seemed to alleviate the issue. It does fold when you hit a rock so it will last a lot longer than the stocker!

BEST ANSWER:No green tip, unfortunately! No other brands will probably fit the tusk brake lever because of its design. Most guys I know, love this rear brake setup. And it's easy to replace just the tip if it breaks which I've done a few times. I highly recommend.
