    Good value -- looks great
The stock plug on my YZ450F requires a HUGE allen type socket...saw these Tusk plugs in here at RM and realized it is less expensive to buy these aftermarket plugs than to buy the right size allen wrench or socket. PLUS the Tusk plug takes a 'normal' size allen (10mm) vs the larger size (20mm?)

    Strange issue
I purchased a set of these to replace my OEM engine plugs. The quality was definitely better than stock, and I was fairly happy with my purchase. However, the fitment was not good. Despite torqueing down the plugs to OEM spec, the large plug backed out in the sand dunes, which could have cost me a lot of money. Switched back to OEM plugs and haven't had trouble since.

These are probably fine for most and I wouldn't tell people to steer clear altogether, but my personal experience with the Suzuki LT-R450 was not good.

    Good fit.
Replaced the stripped out stock unit. Has a larger socket head so should work out to be durable.

My stock ones were about stripped out, these were cheaper and they are good quality. I would of went with OEM but since these were cheaper I gave them a shot. Kawasaki OEM ones use a flat head to take in and out, these use a allen which will be less prone to stripping.

So there is no o ring grove on the large center plug. Is it supposed to be this way? Used with no o ring. 2016 YZ 450F. The oem has a grove and an o ring.
    Albert S on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have always used the stock O ring and pushed it to the back side of the plug and it works fine. My 2016 YZ450 has hasnt leaked after 45 hours , I also have this on my YZ250FX with no issues.
Do you need a special o ring for it?Mine is to big and it doesn't have the slots cut in it for the o ring so it pops out the side when I tighten it down. I have a 2016 yz250f
    Zachary M on Oct 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have figure out that if you have a yz250f. You need to get a crf o ring. They are a little smaller and fits perfectly. The o ring is a little wider too so they letter on it is not upside down anymore. Perfect seal and the letters aren't upside down.
Is it located on strator cover?
    A shopper on Oct 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are located on the left side of the engine case above the shift lever. The added bling is not a necessity, but it's pretty cool!
Ive got a kx450 2011 changed head gaskit due to water in oil now ive got oil comeing out of weep hole on side of head ?
    A shopper on Sep 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The weep hole side of head is generally there to drain spark plug recession of water... i can’t imagine how oil comes from there if u have good rings and spark plug is installed correctly. Check that and check the black gasket on head cover. Make sure bolts are torqued properly

    Paresh G on Sep 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: OEM o-rings will work with the Tusk engine plugs.
Where can i buy the o-rings?
    Paresh G on Aug 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: OEM O-Rings will work with the Tusk Engine Plug.
Is an allen wrench included? If not, what size allen wrench is needed for the engine plug?
    Kevin E on Aug 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If its for a Honda engine plug its 10mm allen head slot.
I might be crazy but I do not think the smaller engine plug is used on the 2017 crf450r model.. Where does the smaller (Engine Inspection Plug) supposed to go on a 2017 CRF450R? I actually do not see anywhere on this engine that would use the smaller plug like the older year models. I see it was supposed to be for a 2017 so a little input would be awesome.
    Robert R on Oct 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: it goes on the oil filler plug.
How many plugs come with this kit?
    Landon W on Aug 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This will depend on the bike. most likely 2. maybe 3.
