So much better than the stock pegs.
Massive difference from the stock KLR pegs. If you ride at all off road, even easy dirt roads, this is a MUST to upgrade! 2 min install and one of the best QOL upgrades you can make!

Solid, sticky, and huge improvement.
I feel kind of dumb for not replacing my stock pegs on my KLR sooner, but my confidence and balance are way better now off-road with these. Love em!

Tusk Pegs - KLR 650
Great fit and look. Very good replacement for the stock pegs. Wider and more comfortable. They can be installed quickly with only some pliers.

Way better than stock
I've had good luck with Tusk products and these pegs were just what I was hoping for - way sturdier than stock and they will be awesome when I get in mud and wet riding. They slipped right on and there were no fitment issues. The gap between peg and shifter got tighter, but my feet are only size 9 so I can still shift normally. I can it being a problem for size 12s.

They’re the best footpegs you can buy for dualsporting!
Seriously my favorite footpegs ever, I like them a million times better than my overpriced Pivot Pegs. Only thing they lack is pivoting motion, that’s why I bought the Pivot pegs...but when I find a dual sport boot that isn’t a pita to shift with, I’m switching back to my Tusk. They’re super durable too for being aluminum.

BEST ANSWER: For these footpegs, you would need to use the original/ OEM footpeg pins to hold these in place.
Will gear shift lever need to be replaced to a longer one due to the extra length of foot peg? Thank you
Philip R on Apr 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I really like my new foot pegs, they are much more comfortable. However, even with a longer gearshift lever it is a little more difficult to shift but it is worth the trade off. So yes get the longer shifter too
Will these fit the FIRST Gen KLR650? Mine is a 2006 and I am wondering about fitment. Thanks.

are the teeth replaceable?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the teeth are replaceable.
I have a set of moose aftermarket pegs on my 09 KLR now, but i have to really hug the sides of the bike to keep my boots on them. do these pegs allow a wider (side to side) stance on the KLR?
Patrick K on Mar 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Can't really say for sure if they are wider than your Moose pegs, but I do know they are much better pegs than the factory footpegs. The Tusk were a heck of a good deal for the price. I did put a slightly longer gear shift on that seems to help when putting on upgraded pegs. Possible that could help you if you are having to tuck your boot in too much.
Will these also fit the rear? Looking to get matching ones.
Stephen D on Mar 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I don't see why they wouldn't fit in the rear. The simplest way to check would be to see if your existing pegs would fit the pillion position. As long as the mounts are the same if they fit in the front they should fit in the back too.
Do these come with cotter pins?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No they done you will have to use new cotter pins but that’s a small price compared to the benefits these pegs provide

Laura B on Jan 2, 2019
