Just wish it came with screws
I like the fit and it fits perfectly on the bike, but I wish it came with new hardware.

Didn't fit my aftermarket clutch perch.
Would love to have used it but it didn't fit my aftermarket clutch perch. The holes were slightly different so if I decide to go back to a stock perch, I'll use it. I like the idea of eliminating a spot on the handlebar real estate.

Honda kill swirch
Put this on a 2016 Honda 110. It was about a foot shorter then the OEM. It plugged right in like the OEM but was backwards. Pushing the button to have the bike work was not ideal. I cut the old one and made it longer and made the wires correct. But seemed like it should have came ready to work.

I was excited, now in hand not so sure...
I saw this type of switch in the $40-50 range and was pretty pumped at the value pricing of these. I have been happy with all RM house branded stuff.

First impression was a smaller gauge wire then the stock I was soldering to from the stock switches. The buttons look a bit small and I am not sure as to the weatherproofing. Heading out on a 4 day Baja ride unsupported Thursday and I am carrying the old ones as spares and that wasn't the plan. I only put them on one bike and running stockers on the other.

The extra bar space is great and I really liked the switches until I compared them to some of the $50 versions then I was bummed. I will report back with updates, not sure if I will keep or return the others. $60 was easier to stomach then $200 but we will see how they do. I will probably "stress test" them with the power washer after we get back.

Tusk billet start/ kill switch
Great replacement for stock, creates space on bars especially if running hand guards.

Perfect for smaller hands
The old killswitch on my girlfriends rm85 was too far away for her to actually reach without taking her hand off the bars this fixes the problem and looks good doing it

Does the Tusk Billet Start/Kill Switch come with new hardware/mounting bolts?
Phillip W on Mar 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No it does not. You will have to use your existing clutch or brake bolts or order them separate.
Does this work on a bike that does not have a start switch to start with? And how? I have a 2005 YZ250F
Talon B on May 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Might want to think through your question . If your bike does not currently have a start switch (which yours does not have stock) , does it have a starter or electric start (which yours does not have stock), and your bike does not have a battery (which yours does not have stock), this start button will not work to start it. Your bike it a kick start only stock. This button will work for your bike as a kill switch if you so choose.
does it fit nice and snug on 7/8 handlebars ?
A shopper on May 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yeah it fits good, just be aware you have to cut your stock cable and solder this together, or electrical tape it if you’re ok with that, it’s not plug and play
If the switch is normally open, would it have to be pushed in in order for my bike to run or would it work as a proper kill switch? I have an 07 cr125.
bradley l on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It works the same as the OEM switch, just more robust. Pushed in would ground and kill the bike.
Can I use this on a crf150rb expert, I already have a kill switch but I want to be able to have a start button as well, is there anyway to make modifications to accommodate that?
A shopper on Jan 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: To see if this part will fit your machine please enter the make, model, and year into our "Choose a vehicle" drop down boxes found above the product image. If your machine is not listed, we may not carry the right item for your application.
what about the mapping switch on the newer Hondas? (450r/rx) They have the mapping switch on the kill switch
Jacob S on Aug 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This switch is only designed to act as a kill or start switch. Not changing mapping.
What is the c-c demensions between bolt holes.. i.e. 30-32mm c-c?
nathan m on Mar 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: What machine will this switch get installed on Nathan? I would like to measure the actual switch you should be receiving.
Will this work as a kill switch on my 2007 cr125 or will the button have to be pushed in in order for it to run? Thanks
bradley l on Feb 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this will work as a kill switch for your machine. Remove the old kill switch and replace it with the Tusk Billet Start/Kill Switch.
Does the clamp allow your lever to rotate, like the Billet Rotating Bar Clamp does?
Aaron M on Oct 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This does not. The Billet Rotating Bar Clamp is designed with a poly sleeve that allows it to rotate. This switch does not come with that.
Is this normally open or closed?
A shopper on Oct 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Its normally open.
