Was looking for new hand guards to replace old guards. Got tiered on bending levers, the wrap around guards shields not only my hand. I do a lot of trails in the middle of no where, saves my but if I go down.

Plastic could be slightly larger but these are strong
First ride out with these i was climbing a steep, muddy doubletrack and my rear tire chased a rut and hooked up, wheelying my front out of the rut and into the trees lining the track. Hit an 18' tree pretty forcefully right on the guard - no bends, no injuries. kept riding. Several drops later and they still look great. I am sold.

Great deal!
I installed these on my sons kx85 and he loves them. They may be a little on the heavy side but they are really solid. Should outlast the bike.

Cant go wrong with Tusk
Tusk delivered with this kit. The plastics match the bike flawlessly and after several tip overs and endless roost, they are still in great shape. Just ordered another set for the new bike.

Must have for learners and pros
I bought these for my two boys who both ride TTR-125. They dropped the bikes a few times learning, and even now that they ride like little pros, on occasion they run into branches or set down the bike. These things are tough and have taken the beating well. Other then a few starches on them they function perfectly. Don't consider riding without them if you've got someone new too the sport or pushing the boundaries.

Look great, solid workmanship, and affordable too!
These are great! Super solid and feel they will protect the bike (and me) pretty well. They look really cool too. I am going to buy another pair for the other bike. Can't beat the price too!

What is the minimum i.d. of the bars for these to fit?
Mike R on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Standard bars, I believe 7/8 in. They worked great, did what they were designed for by protecting levers and your hands in a fall! Ask me how I know!
Are these handgaurd universal?
A shopper on May 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I had to go a little work with a dremil. I have big bars and they were for small bars. Instead of sending back and waiting I did some grinding and they fit good. A yz250f
how tight do i need to tighten all the bolts?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would say it depends on what philosophy you follow. Some like to keep things loose so that the aluminum doesn't break when taking on a big impact. Personally, I crank them down tight because even a light trail oops can swing the bars up or down. I use blue loctite on my handbar risers, wrap-arounds, and sometimes even on the lever clamps if I'm reusing old parts.
Will these fit a 2005 KLR 650?
Kirt C on Feb 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I am not familiar with that bike but I have installed them on a 2002 XR250R and a 2012 KTM SX-F 450 with no problems what-so-ever. I suspect you can make them work as long as you get the correct clamp size (either 7/8 or 1 1/8) depending on your handle bar size.
could I use the 7/8 clamp on 1 1/8 bars without buying adapters???
Diego on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You would need to purchase the 1 1/8" big bar adapters in order to use the wrap around D-Flex handguards.
Are the stickers or decals easily removeable on these handguards? I want them to be plain white
Nick L on Jun 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes and no. The sticker will remove but the D Flex logo is in the plastic. Good looking set. Good quality. Comes with standard size bar mounts so keep in mind if you have oversized bars you will need the mounts for oversized.
will these fit a 2005 TTR230?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they should fit you bike as long as you have standard handlebars. They may not fit the fatty handlebars. I have a set on a 03 crf450r and they really do hold up well. I am very pleased with them and will definitely buy them again for my next bike. You may have to loosen you clutch and front brake levers to fit behind the hand guard but they will certainly keep you having broke levers when you wipe out.
Will these fit a 2004 YZ85? With pro tappers?
A shopper on Apr 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes ,but I is likely you will need to use the big bar adapters that Rocky Mountain also has. I put them on my YZ426(with Pro Taper bars) Love em! You may need to slightly adjust the angle of the inner part of the handgaurd frame during installation for a more precise fit. Good luck!!
Will they fit a 2008 KTM mini ?
Robert M on Sep 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: not the 50/65 but maybe the 85/105 as those bars are a little wider. on a side note, by buddy, cut his for his sons mini, he just measured, cut and re drilled. they work and look awesome! hope this helped, good luck, go ride!
I have a set of these and bought new bars I need the insert that goes into bar and expands but cannot find just that part...is there a trick to removing the old ones?
Anthony B on May 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I put the bolt back in and left about 1/4 inch out so I could grip end of bolt with a pair of pliers and pull the insert out of handlebars.
how long are these from end to end?
Logan k on Apr 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 12.75-13" I have them on a TW200 with stock bars.
Will these handguards fit ok in my son dirt bike CRF125?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes I think they will fit just fine. I have a set on my son’s KX85 and they worked out great and the KX and CRF have similar height and width bars. Also have them on a KX65 and they fit it great also. They have a good amount of adjustment and hold solid when tightened. Just choose the 7/8” bar size option when ordering.
Do these fit a KLX 110?
Cass B on Nov 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I put them on a Jr 50 had to bend them slightly with my vice and the inner bar mounts are smack dab in the middle of the triple clamp but they have been great and give the bike a racy look
Will these fit my 2019 yz250 with same size stock pro taper bars?
jeff b on Aug 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: As long as the hand guard clamps and end bar is the same size as the bars yes
Will these fit a Kawasaki klr 650 ?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: D-Flex Hand-guards mounted on a 2017 KLR 650 with stock handlebars and stock levers.

The metal bar has rounded corner bend (as you can tell). From the inner mount bracket area (where the handlebar mounts) to the center of the first bend is 12", then it angles out to the end mount an additional 1", for a total of 13". From the center-line of my grips to the inside of the main hand guard is 5" (max clearance for the end of my levers). The ball end of my levers extends 4" from the centerline of my grips. That leaves ~1" of clearance from the ball end of my levers. The hand guard bar is about 3/8" thick. There are holes for mounting the MX shields.

The handlebar mount is quite adjustable and has a slide hole for the mounting bolt of about 1.25" long. The mounting bolt also swivels around a bit to adjust for angles. So, there is a decent amount of adjustment, but it was a bit of work to get it to fit just right. I had to bend the end pieces a slight amount to fit in the end bars and clear the levers, etc. Worth it if you drop by providing protection to the levers. I also have bar-end weights added on the outside of the hand guard to dampen higher RPM road vibration. With a bit of finesse, it all fit perfect. These are built stout and rugged, with high quality manufacturing attention to finish, they are very durable, and help deflect wind/rain/branches off your hands.
will it fit a 2008 crf150rb?
A shopper on Aug 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You should not have any issues if your bars are stock. Aftermarket (oversized bars 1 1/8") will need the oversize bar mount purchased separately.
will these fit on a stock 2015 klx 140?
bfmorro on Aug 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they should. I put them on a crf100 and a crf150
Can I put this Tusk d-flex hand guards on a 2018 KLR 650?
A shopper on Jun 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I google searched klr 650 handlebar and found several klr 650's with metal guards attached to bar end with bracket attached to the bar on the other end. They looked very similar to the tusk d flex hand guards, but i do not know for sure. They are for a 7/8 inch bar.
Will these fit on 2013 drz 400??? Any modifications??
A shopper on Mar 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they should fit so long as your bars aren't anything weird. You may have to modify the bar ends, but these just pop in and as you tighten the bolt, the rubber squeezes out against the bar.
Will it fit my 2016 Kx250f?
Blaine S on Mar 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Its universal so should fit your kx250f you may have to move your brake and clutch levers in or out to make room for the inner connectors. Also have to cut the rubber on the end of your hand grips so bar inserts can go in. Otherwise you should be in good shape.
Where can I find the larger clamps? I don’t see them sold separately on here?
Monte S on Mar 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Monte they sell a big bar adaptor. Which I run. $17, like most handguard of this type its going to take some
work to get them to fit right. The tusk handguards work well though. Good luck
Will these fit on a 2002 Honda XR 100?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I do not see any issues with the 2002 Honda XR100. Tusk D-Flex Handguards are universal and should fit most machines with some adjustment to the controls. There are some cases that they do not fit or fit well.

For Example: You would run into problems with the KLR650 and the headlight cowl. The handguards would hit the headlight cowl before turning all the way in both directions.
What is the distance for the clamp point from the barend? This will probably pertain to any handguard mfg with a 2 point mount system. Thanks!

Tusk D-Flex Pro Adventure Handguards w/Turn Signals
BEST ANSWER: Hi Kevin. The distance from the bar end to the clamp bolt center line on these tusk hand guards is almost exactly 12". The clamp itself is about an inch so the maximum in reach along the bars length for install is 12.5" . The clearance from the grip out to the aluminum back bone - or Knuckle clearance/lever end clearance is 5 ". As you can see the backbone has a curve to it so the clearance to the lever near the levers pivot is less but much less is needed there. On my DRZ, I gained much more clearance than I had when using an Acerbis guard previously.

Anthony P on Mar 28, 2019
