TUSK D-FLEX HANDGAURDS
Tusk D-Flex Handgaurds are the best out of about 5 different brands/styles I've used on dirt bikes and dual sport bikes! Plenty of room and adjustment for your hands and any lever you want to use. They have about any color you want. I'm going to put these on 2 of my other bikes. THEY FIT GREAT ON RENTHAL BARS.

Tough like they should be and fit well.
Unfortunately i already dumped my bike in some rocks and these bark busters held up great. Im upset that i already scratch the heck out of them and tore off the graphics but no bend at all. I did have to tighten them back up but they did their job. They also fit really nice and offer a ton of room. Tusk has proven to be excellent for affordable prices.
Plastic is tough and durable.

Saved my digits
These don't fit great on a stock TT-R230, or really on any bike with stock bars that have a cross member. But where there's a will, there's a way. I got 'em on and working, and they've saved my fingers and levers many, many times.

These hand guards work well and fit my bars better than the more expensive options available.

Dumped my bike a couple times last summer and the bars even bent but these weren't damaged. The instructions are enjoyable to use and you can tell it was written by and engineer / someone who really cared because the level of detail is impeccable. Would 100% recommend. Do not buy the cheaper hand guards unless you don't really care about your bike. It's worth it to get these if you love your bike and want to keep it for a while. They loom so much better than the cheapo ones too.

Heavy duty hand guard
Strong and good coverage. Not a lot of versatility (full size bar only). Little heavy in my opinion...

Simple, tuff and good looking
Easy to instal, but poor fiting between the clamp and the sparr, some bending should do the trick.

Great Barkbusters. Not a simple bolt on.
I purchased these for a 1 1/8 Fat Bar. Trying to install was a bit of a pain because I could not get wrap around bar to sit low enough with out a serious binding on the handle bar. I had to heat up the aluminum wrap around and bend them in order to get the bar end and wrap to align. Be warned might take some extra micro adjustments but once installed fit and finished are quality. Use a little locktite on hardware to keep it from vibrating out.

Took a good amount of finagling but they are mounted solid.

Great coverage and look amazing! Mounts are poor fitting and too short. If I buy again I will get the these hand guards and buy Cycra mounts for them, they work together no problem.

Mounting to handlebars
Looks like a very high quality product. The universal fit adjust it up pretty well to my 2013 KTM, though I did add a small rubber bushing that I found in my garage to the connection point between the handrail and the handlebar mount bracket, the original fit wasn't perfectly Square in this area so the rubber bushing was put into fill the Gap. Probably not a big deal but I did it anyway. So far I like the product,

Will these fit 2017 Africa twin?
A shopper on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: these are made for dirt bikes only. i have seen some people with these on but we cannot guarantee that any hand guard will fit any bike because they are machine specific.
Will these fit a Suzuki DR650 with stock bars without having to modify the clutch and brake levers?
Jeff P on Aug 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have installed these on my 2016 DR650SE with stock bars without re-adjusting anything at all. Good luck to you.
will these fit a Dr650 with no cutting of the clutch/brake lever ?
A shopper on Jan 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: yes. you shouldn't have to cut the brake or clutch levers.
I saw a review about these being easy to install on a gen 2 KLR650. any tips? I'm not seeing how they can go on
Terrance B on Feb 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These are certainly NOT an easy install on a gen2 KLR. If you know what your doing, as well as what your getting in to, I would still recommend purchasing them. Here's what you'll need to do: Remove stock bar end weights, sawzall about 1/4" off the end of your stock handlebars, saw or grind off the welded on loop on the left side of your handlebars (that holds wires), go to lowes (because ace doesnt typically carry) and replace the Tusk bolt that screws their guards into the side of your handlebars with a (M8 i believe?) bolt that is countersunk as well as fully threaded (since your not using bar weights), and half the size of the tusk one (since your bars are now shorter). But yeah other than that it is pretty simple...
What's the difference between the D-Flex and the D-Flex Pro?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2018
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
BEST ANSWER: The biggest differences would be that the design of the hand guards are different with a different shape in the plastics and the D-Flex Pros come with the option for 7/8" or 1 1/8" mounting hardware whereas the D-Flex comes with 7/8" mounting hardware with the 1 1/8" adapters available to be purchased separately.
Does anyone know if they will fit a18 te 150 and how do I measure the handle bar ?
Shawn P on Jun 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought a set of these for a 2018 TE300. Perfect fit. The mounting brackets are for the bars of your choice, however, that TE150 comes with the 1 and 1/8 size standard. Not sure where they are measured for that exactly, but I believe it is at the bar mount area, which then tapers down smaller to the grip area. I really like the fit of these guards. A little more coverage

Will this fit a 2014 XT250 and does the blue match the team Yamaha blue?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, these will work with that bike and the blue is not exactly like YZ blue but its very close.
Will these fit on a 2017 Kawasaki 450F? I have had problems with the location of the front brake line where it exits the master cylinder.
James O on Jan 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know but i attached them to my 2009 Yamaha 250 YZF and with the tapered handle bars it was a challenge... They have 2 different hole diameters for the attachments and I bought the smaller one(s) so I had to move stuff around on the handle bars but it worked out..? Not quite where I really wanted them to be situated but good enough... Might try getting both sizes of attachments and see where it fits best...
Are the logos actually painted onto the plastic or are they just stickers you can remove for a cleaner look?
Peter V on May 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The Tusk Logo is just a sticker that you will be able to remove from the black shield.
Any idea if these will fit on a Jr. size bike. My son has a KX65. If so, will they look goofy due to their size?
Daryl F on Apr 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I do not have the absolute answer, but these are mounted on my Husqvarna TE 300 and fit full size very nicely. They give large coverage to me. With the KX65 smaller size, I really dont think they would be a good match. The guard is wide for coverage. The aluminum bar mounting bracket is designed to mount at the end of the handlebar and the other end is designed to attach to a clamp in the center area of the bars. I would think the length would extend too far to the center. Hope this helps
What is the stock diameter for a Yamaha xt250 handlebar?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 7/8" steel.
Will these fit on a 2015 CRF 230F?
A shopper on Oct 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They should. Just ensure that you get those made for whatever your stock bar size is. I'm pretty sure the the 230 only has 7/8 bars.
hello there. Will this covers fit 1994 BMW F650 funduro? cheers.
A shopper on Oct 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You have to know the diameter of your handle bars and then pick either 7/8 or 1-1/8. And then you may have to adjust brake and clutch levers to make room for the clamps.
Will they work with the tusk 7/8 bars? My acerbis ones won’t work
Alexander C on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure if this info will help. I have these mounted on tapered bars, which are 7/8 at the controls, and getting wider where the handguard clamps connect. If your asking if the clamps will clamp down tight on a 7/8 bar, I think they will. On my bike there is still about a .20" gap between the clamp halves, once its all bolted down tight. Looks to me like it would fit a 7/8 bar.
These will work for a 2001 yz125 right? Im sure they do just want to double check and is the stock bars 7/8?
Jordan S on Oct 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this type of hand guard is universal just make sure the mounts are for 7/8” and not 1 1/8”. I also recommend the ODI Emig grips, makes for a nice fit and finish.
Will these fit a 2005 Yamaha tw200?
michael L on Dec 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have installed these on a few different model bikes. Make sure you get the right handlebar clamp diameter and you should be good. You may have to do some slight bending of the aluminum protection bar to accommodate your specific bar bend.
will these fit renthal 7/8 fat bars?
Patrick R on Oct 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will. Just make sure you get the bar mounts for 7/8" and not the 1-1/8".
Do you know if a Crf125 big wheel will work?
A shopper on Aug 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they work great I have used them on a crf 150 before and they are universal so make sure to pick the correct handlebar size for that bike the bar size is 7/8
Will these fit onto Renthal 7/8 CR high bend bars?
Cameron V on Jul 9, 2018
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
KTM Renthal 7/8
KTM Renthal 7/8" Handlebars
BEST ANSWER: On the 7/8" dia just make sure you get the 7/8 mounts not the 1" mounts. The high bend bars should be fine, lots of adjustment that way. If you have a hydraulic clutch fitment is a little tricky but it works
is there a way to mount these to the triple clamp?
David W on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if Tusk makes a triple clamp mount, but I don't see why these wouldn't work with something like the G2 Ergos Mongo mount.
Anyone have these on the Yamaha TW200 dual sport bike?
Randy M on Jan 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have them on a Wr250r, easy to install, good product.
Will these fit on ProTaper EVO Handlebars?
Kenneth F on Jan 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Kenneth,
These fit my Pro Taper EVO Adventure bars on a DRZ400S without issue. Make sure you get the ones for 1-1/8" bars. I wasn't paying close enough attention when I ordered mine, ended up ones for 7/8' bars, and had to get different bar adapters.
Good luck!
Brett
Will these fit my 2004 KTM 300 EXC?
Steve P on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We put these on my wife’s 2004 KTM 200 EXC and they fit great. Just double check the handle bar size to ensure you get the right clamp size. I measured wrong and got the 7/8” clamps the first time and had to order the larger 1-1/8” ones.
i have a stock 2013 ktm250 sx , will this fit or do i have better options? thanks
Terry H on Feb 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will fit as long as you order the correct handlebar diameter. I’ve had several pairs and they are great for the money
i have a 2018 suzuki dr 650 what size would i need 7/8 or 1 1/8 i have stock bars?

BEST ANSWER: Not sure, but I believe they sell mounting hardware for both sizes.
Will these fit a 2008 Honda CRF230L? Thanks
matt W on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would get on the forums and check on this, I had no luck getting them to fit my 450 Hondas at all without serious bending of the aluminum. Very sorry that I was not helpful on this as I went back to the Acebis brand as they fit great right out of the package with no modifications at all. I do like the Tusk guards but way too rigid to fit my bikes.
will these fit my 2018 Kawasaki KLX 140G ? also which clamps do I get 7/8 or 1 1/8
A shopper on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are set up to be a universal hand guard and with that keep in mind they will take some effort to set up just right
Will these fit my 2018 yz 250 x?
Eric W on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Should fit with no problems. The bar ends have an adapter for steel or aluminum bars. And you'll have to click what size bars you have to get the correct swivel mount. I put a set on my 2003 DRZ400E with pro taper 7/8 bars and another set on my 2007 RMZ450 with factory fat bars and they both fit perfect
Will these fit my Pro Taper EVO 1 1/8" CR High bend bars on my 2011 DR650?
John D on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I put mine on the contour 1 1/8. They work great. Only issue I had on my 09 DR was the cables kind of being in the way. You may also want to use a vice and change the angle of the handguard slightly to fit the angle of the bars and the mount. Mine is slightly off and doesn't fit flush with the bracket but it doesn't cause any issues either way that I've seen. They fit the full size levers with room to spare as well
