Worked exactly like it's supposed to! Super easy, very handy tool. Much easier than using a grinder.

Appears to be well built at a great price
I recently had to remove a link from a CRF250R due to installing a new smaller rear sprocket. I could not believe how tough those chains are. Ended up grinding the pin flush with the link and still took a lot of effort with a punch. After spending 15 min removing a link, I bought this tool that i have yet to use. Lol

Tool extracts chain rivet without drama
Bought to break non-master link chain. It did what I needed without any issues. Small enough to be included in tool kit for trips

Great value
I've used this chain breaker over 5 times now. Seems to be very durable. For the price it is a great value. I wish I would have bought this years ago. Much better than using a grinder and only takes 30 seconds.

what size chain is this good for?
Brian O on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Ive used on 520 O-ring and and standard chains. Has worked flawlessly. I'm going to predict that it would work on a majority of chains used.
Can I use with without grinding off the edge of the pivot or do you have to grind it off before you use this tool?
Nikolai C on May 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: no need to grind - will push pin right out - we use them on the trail often.

cheers!
How tight do you seat the outer shaft before you tighten the inner pin and press out the pin?
Brad B on Sep 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I make it as tight as possible with a box end wrench. I’ve used my breaker about six times. Make sure the pin on the tool is backed out all the way, and the pin on the chain is centered. Takes a lot of force but will work well. Good luck!
Do you have to grind down the pins before using?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No sir you don't grind the pins, that's what makes this a great tool to separate the links, a must have in my opinion.
will this tool also flange the heads of a new non clip type master link?
BRENT C on Dec 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No I don't think so. Maybe if they have another head
