Works great with Beta factory harness
Works perfectly, removed the tusk plug and plugged the leads into my Beta Xtrainer factory harness when I added signals to go street legal.

Didn't work for my bike
Wrong connector for my bike, and it's so cheap it isn't worth returning. Kind of super lame, but I should have double checked before I just trusted RM. Wish it fit cause my dang LED blinkers still won't flash!

Defective
Defective. Installed on XR650L and everything worked fine. Took the bike on one short ride to get gas and now the relay is dead. Quality looking case but cheap internal parts. I won't be buying Tusk electronics again.

Does anyone know if the connector on this Tusk Relay fits the stock KTM EXC-F connector? I recently went "all" led with my turn signals on my 2015 350 EXC-F and want to avoid having to butcher the wiring behind the front number plate. It looks like the same connector as my stock incandescent relay... Thanks in advance!

2006 XR650L. I have the Tusk handguards with the LED turn signal in them, flush mount rear LED turn signals, and the LED flasher relay. When I use the turn signals, they all come on and stay on, no flashing. Any ideas?
Larry M on Jul 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It could be a incorrect connection, or bad ground or it could be defective.
I have a 2001 KTM300EXC. I comes with factory turn signals. I replaced them with LED signals. Now all 4 flashers flash at the same time. I'm trying to find the correct relay to replace the existing one. Will this fix the problem? Will it plug into existing connector or will I have to cut and splice to connect it?
Tim M on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: For anyone that has this issue, it's because the single turn signal dash indicator light uses the opposite side turn signals as the ground path. Normally this wouldn't be a problem because an incandescent bulb has enough resistance that it doesn't light with that little current. LEDs, being much more efficient, can light up with that little current. To solve the problem you need to install this on your turn signal dash indicator: https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/1199/51641/Show-Chrome-Accessories-LED-Dual-Conversion-Harness?term=led+harness
Is this flasher compatible with the Ryco street legal kit? I have the Ryco kit on my Rzr 1000 and the lights don't flash anymore.
Eric T on Apr 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I used this flash with the DRC led light and it's worked perfect for 2yrs now as for Ryco I would guess if it's an led kit it should work the price is good and so far quality is good too hope this helps
question, will this harness work and be universal for a 2004 yamaha ttr 225 as I did not see my bike listed? will I need to take out my stock harness? please email me, thank you! :).. plus will I need the second item posted? - putting my own road kit together, any I'm put is helpful.

Tusk Enduro Lighting Kit Replacement Wire Harness
BEST ANSWER: You will not need to replace your stock harness. This will be its own system and just hook up to your battery. Yes, you will need the flasher relay if you are going to run LED turn signals.
Does this require the LED relay flasher? I'm looking to put these on my dual sport bike.

Tusk Round L.E.D. Turn Signals (4 Pack)
Tusk Round L.E.D. Turn Signals (4 Pack)
BEST ANSWER: I used the Tusk handle bar switch and relay. The flasher relay makes the lights blink. The lights are bright and will help make you street legal.
On a bike (1997 XR650L) equipped with factory non-LED turn signals, does the Tusk L.E.D flasher relay replace the existing turn signal relay?
CHARLES P on Oct 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This LED flasher relay will work with low Amp draw LED lights or regular incandescent lights. It can be used as a turn signal relay, an emergency flasher relay, blinking warning lights for slow moving vehicles, blinking whip antenna bulbs, or just about any other type of light that you want to make flash. A standard relay uses the Amp draw from an incandescent bulb to create heat causing the flasher relay to blink. Since LED lights draw such a minute amount of Amps, they don't create enough heat to trigger a standard relay. That is why a LED specific relay is required. It is digitally controlled and does not require the normal Amp draw that a standard relay uses.
Recently I changed all my turn signals to LEDs on a 2017 Suzuki DRZ will this fix the fast flashing that they do now and go back to
the normal ?
DAN H on Jul 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes! Normal flashers are load based, so they respond differently to an incandescent bulb vs LEDs. This flasher relay is designed to work with LEDs. As far as I know, it works based on a small timer and does not run based on load. The flasher speed will be the same no matter what you plug into it. In fact, I have incandescent front signals and LED rear signals on my DR650 and this works perfectly.
Hi y’all. I bought a set of 4 led blinkers for my ‘19 DR650. I installed the tests and they worked great. Then, as I was installing the fronts, I decided to test them before I made anything permanent. With all four LED blinkers wired up, all four flash at the same time no matter witch side I turn on. I only have one blinker indicator on my “dash”. So my question is, do I need the LED flasher or the LED kit for the indicator on my dash or both?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not only did I need to install the led flasher, also had to remove the dash indicator bulb for the signals to work correctly on my 03 DR650 (was unaware led bulb available for this)... hope this helps
Will these work with the DRC Moto LED Edge 2 Steel Tail Light Holder and will i need a the relay? on a CRF250l.

DRC Moto LED Edge 2 Steel Tail Light Holder
DRC Moto LED Edge 2 Steel Tail Light Holder
BEST ANSWER: Will these work on your DRC twilight holder, more than likely as these Tusk units are just like most all other stalk-type turn signals.
Will they need the relay: If your stock relay flasher isn't electronic (designed to operate at low current consumption - that's why they call them LED flashers) you likly will need this 'electronic' flasher relay. If you don't use the electronic flasher you'll need to add resistors to each turn signal to 'fool' the stock mechanical flasher relay.
Minimize the wiring hassle and get the LED flasher - once installed you can use it with any LED or incandescent (std bulb) turn signals.
I installed the electronic flasher on my Suzuki DR when I switched to LED turn signals and when I added LED turn signals to my KTM XC-W.
Tusk LED flasher relay. Once installed, where is the turn on switch?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine was plug and play with the tusk wiring harness and tusk combo switch. I looked up the tusk dual sport kit, got the part numbers for what I wanted from it, and put my own kit together.
will this relay work with standard turn signal bulbs? or only LED?
Marcel D on Oct 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would think with both. When you put led lights onto with a normal flasher there isn't enough draw to make them flash so it would be opposite. There should be lots of draw by normal lights on a led flasher so should work easier.
Turn signal not working could it be because the relay is bad?
Jason H on May 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Check and make sure all the wiring is connected. I would then check the fuse. If everything else still works then it’s most likely the relay.
will the tusk flasher relay plug into my 2011 klr650 without splicing wires?
Rodney M on Jun 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It plugged directly into my 2016, so it should be no problem frpor your 2011
I recently added the tusk led d flex turn signals and flush mount turn signals to rear as well as led flasher relay on to my 2018 ktm 500, when i turn on the turn signals all the signals light up and stay on?
Nathan H on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You have a wire swapped, I.e. red to black should be red to red. Review your wiring layout
Wanting to install LED Turn Signals front and rear on my 1987 KLR 650 is there someplace to plug this in?
Mark R on Apr 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It probably won't plug into the klr stock wiring harness, but you could cut/splice it. Assuming the original flasher on the klr has been removed.
Does this fit a 2008 Husqvarna TE510?
Kole S on Sep 13, 2018
