helmet hooks better use: hanging bags!
nice hooks! I am using them to hang various handled bags containing tools, recovery straps, first aid kit, tire repair kit. the squared off hook with vertical end lip holds the bags on the walls of my cargo trailer and keeps things where i place them. for that use i love these hooks!

better to have it and not need it...
i mean, it is what is is,..shank size a bit small so will bounce around if you leave it in..so..carry it somewhere else. do not know how strong shackle is, will replace with a real Crosby before use
