    I like it!

So far I really like this thing! The material is pretty awesome. Stretchy mesh so it’s really breathable. I’ll see how it does this summer in the Arizona heat. Shoulder protection is great since I hate bulky strap ons or the ones attached to roost guards . ( I haven’t crashed with it on yet though) Pretty spendy but the quality is good. Order one or two sizes up. It fits like a compression shirt. I wear a large t-shirt. (5’11”) 200lbs. I Ordered an xl and it still fits very snug.

    comfortable protection

Ive been a cyclist for decades so shorts like this are not new to me. The pads form to your body and work great under riding pants(Klim Dakar for me). These are very comfortable for great protection.

    Why not get them?

Price is phenomenal and the extra protection is well worth it. Fits rather large. I ordered a XS/S and I'm a medium guy.

    Protection for broken hip hardware

In October 2019 I broke my hip and had hardware installed for the repair. One of the pieces of hardware is very close to the surface of my skin. If I roll over that point on a hard surface it is very uncomfortable. With the large hard plastic pads on the outside of the leg, it offers great relief from pressure on this area. I have had A-stars gear in the past, and have always wore a small. I ordered a small in these and I couldn't even get them on. I exchanged them for medium, and their still snug, but usable. So order a size larger than you're thinking.
