Built off the exact same Corozal chassis that provides waterproof, multi-season usability, the Corozal Adventure Drystar Oiled Leather Boots deliver exceptional performance with a more classically styled approach. The first and only real difference between this boot and the Corozal Adventure WP is that this boot has an upper made from full-grain oiled leather, giving you durability and a classy style that looks right at home whether you’re touring, commuting, or offroad.

Built as the little brother to the Astars Toucan boot, the Corozal has taken technical, hard-core adventure touring features from premium level boots and worked them into a sub 300 dollar price tag, giving the Corozal an excellent bang for the buck. These include an overmolded, new-school type sole for all-terrain traction, "arrowhead" type buckles that self-clean and are easy to use, and a Drystar membrane that’s waterproof, breathable, and extends all the way up to the velcro calf closure.

There’s also a biomechanical hinge on the inside of each boot and large layouts of hardened TPU on the toe box, ankle, and shin. And while this protection makes the boot fairly stiff, comfort is maintained by high-quality interior fabrics and an excellent fit. Together this makes Alpinestars Corozal Adventure WP Motorcycle Boots one of the best (if not the best) adventure, touring, dual sport, and commuting options under 300 dollars.

    Protection
  • TPU shin plate and calf plate offer support and resistance from impacts
  • Bio-mechanical lateral "flexi-blade" system for excellent front and rear movement while offering support and protection to the ankle
  • TPU double density ankles protector on medial side for protection
  • Soft foams surround the ankles and collar offer comfort and shock absorbing performance
  • Toe box and heel counter reinforcement are layered under the upper
  • Corozal Drystar® boot is CE certified to EN 13634:2010

    Comfort
  • Drystar® membrane layer between upper and lining for proven performance in difficult weather conditions
  • Extended PU coated leather gaiter helps seat out excessive water and dirt entry
  • Rear gaiter includes rubber insert for flexibility and comfort
  • TPU shift pad made with technical texture for added grip plus foam padding on underneath for better comfort
  • Wide entry aperture for convenience with Velcro® upper closure flap to allow broad ranging calf fit adjustment
  • Anatomical EVA footbed with Lycra™ lining on top
  • Alpinestars exclusive vulcanized rubber sole compound for optimal combination of comfort and grip

    Construction
  • Full grain oiled leather upper and lower medial panel, both with heat press texture for superior grip
  • New closure system includes 2 polymer buckles with an innovative closure system
  • Closure includes a ratchet with memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure
  • Front and rear bellow made with lightweight microfiber for more durability and abrasion resistance
  • PP insole with steel shank co-injected for excellent feel and safety

Most comfortable boots Ive ever had
I did not rate durability as I have not had them very long. I have only put ten hours on them So far so good but I expect them to last well. As stated these are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I have had Alpinestars before but my other boots that I have now are Gaerne Reacts. Great boot but not as comfortable being a Motocross boot. I take long trips and wanted something more comfortable and these boots are awesome.

So Far Im very happy with them
I was hesitant to spend this much on a pair of boots, but how much will a broken ankle cost? These boots are comfortable, and love riding with them. Having to get use to braking and shifting at first but you find your groove. Time will tell if they hold up well, but they seem very well built.

Outstanding Boot!
The Alpinestars Corozal is the best boot I have ever owned. I have been riding off road and street for over 50 years, I currently race Hare scrambles with my sons and this is the most comfortable boot ever. I have some arthritis in my ankles and feet, so the stiffer motocross boots only aggravate my feet, the Corozal is like a real tough work boot with the most comfortable fit ever.
I highly recommend the Corozal boots.
Bike #42.

Love these boots!
Just finished my first ADV ride with these boots. 100 miles not so technical but got a chance to wear these and form an opinion. My calves are small and i wore over the boot pants and the adjusted for an awesome fit! Very comfortable to walk around in but I also felt well protected (good snug fit around calf and ankle). I know quality boots are going to be expensive (some far in excess of the $299 i paid) and i believe these are worth every penny. Cant wait to put some more miles on with them to see how the soles, etc. hold up. First real quality pair of boots i have ever owned. Would definitely recommend to anyone doing ADV or not too rough and hazardous DS riding. I'm sure they will be great for any terrain i can take my XR650 on. I normally wear size 10 and they fit very true.

Excellent boot. Good protection combined with high comfort.
Excellent, comfortable boot right out of the box. Not quite as much protection as my Tech 8's, but these are for a different purpose. Have only had them for about a month, but so far they exceed expectations.

High quality and comfortable boot with lots of protection
I am a new rider and was looking for a comfortable adventure boot with lots of protection. Took a gamble and bought these online from Rocky Mountain. I am very pleased. Very comfortable out of the box and not bad to walk in even though they are tall with lots of protection. Wore them 1/2 day of riding in recent 95 degree heat and they weren’t too hot. Alpinestars makes good stuff; the quality shows.

All around winner
Love these boots, I primarily ride mountain trails / single track and enduro where feel and flexibility are what I want. Yet they give me the protection I need. Good all around boot for technical riding.

Alpine Stars always a good choice
You cant go wrong with Alpine Stars. I really only buy new ones for the new styles. You cant tear them up. They fit great, break in quick, light weight and super protection. Never skimp on helmets or boots. I have learned the hard way and its not worth it.

Great Boots
Really nice adventure boot. Very comfortable and waterproof. Not as stiff and protective as a motocross boot but perfect for riding a big adventure bike. Easy to walk in too.

I HAVE A CONCERN ABOUT THE GLUED ON SOLES . IN THE PAST I,VE PURCHASED RELATIVELY EXPENSIVE BOOTS AND HIKING SHOES OR BOOTS ONLY TO HAVE THE GLUE FAIL AFTER BEING SUBJECTIVE TO GETTING WET. DON'T MIND SPENDING THE MONEY IF THEY'LL HOLD UP ?
JAN K on Jul 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I've had these boots wet many times I have never had a problem with the glue I'm very happy with the boots the fit right out of the box was awesome didn't take a lot of Break In Time the latches work great I would highly recommend this boot
I see in reviews of the black version of this boot people complaining about a clicking noise from the ankle hinge when walking. Has anyone had that experience with this boot?
Mike K on Jul 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have had a small click in mine in the past...it's not very noticeable and you can lessen the click by pulling the hinge out and shaving or sanding some of the edge away. I don't have an issue with it.

The hinge you're talking about is really like an ankle stabilization piece...there's a plastic tab that fits into a plastic slot. The tab can catch in the slot a bit when you move, but like I said, the catching is easily rectified with a bit of DIY modification...if you own an ADV or dual sport bike, you should be fine with this!
Is it advisable to get this in one's normal shoe size, or should I add one shoe size as I do with hiking boots or running shoes so my toes don't get jammed if run into a rock or tree? Do you wear extra socks with this model?
Marcus V on Mar 16, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I normally wear a size 10 and that is what i ordered. They fit great. Maybe not the full protection of a full-on motocross boot but they are very comfortable; even to walk around in (a big plus in my purchase decision). I wear regular motocross socks or boot sox; just one pair. Highly recommend this boot.
I have a size 11.5 foot. Should I go 11 or 12?
A shopper on Apr 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend to size up to a 12, then you can have extra room for riding socks.
