Built as a companion piece to the Yokohama Jacket, Astars’ Yokohama Drystar Pants are a 3 to 4 season, all-weather pant aimed at the touring, commuting, and adventure riders that want durable weather protection without paying a higher, super-premium price. The pant is obviously designed for functionality, but Alpinestars tucks all of the Yokohama’s features into a refined fit scheme that cuts out extra, baggy material in favor of a more understated, classy appearance.

Big features start on the outside with a 600 denier textile chassis that has reinforcement panels at the high-wear areas and stretch paneling at both the crotch and knee—ensuring that the pant doesn’t negatively affect your movement. The waterproof Drystar liner is worked directly into this exterior shell, meaning the waterproofing is integrated so you don’t have to mess with awkward liners that get pulled out when you take the pants off. The integrated waterproofing also means the exterior fabrics won’t hold any water and the zippered venting allows direct airflow to your legs.

Astars’ does include a removable thermal liner for handling some of the colder months as well as a jacket-to-pant connection zipper and a good amount of fit adjustment—perfect for when you need to cinch everything down and keep foul weather out. All in, these features are handy and well done, making the Yokohama Drystar Pants a great option for riding anything from a BMW GS or Triumph Tiger to Honda’s Africa Twin or CB500X.

• Class-leading impact protection provided by removable CE certified knee protectors. Protectors are housed within internal mesh pockets, allowing them to be adjusted according to rider’s leg length.
• Internal hip compartments. Hip compartments can be upgraded to incorporate Nucleon hip protectors.
