The Answer Evolve 4 MIPS Helmet is the performance leader in value based off-road helmets and features MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology as well as many other high-end features. What is MIPS? MIPS was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. Adding MIPS to the Evolve 4 helmet brings state of the art safety technology other companies charge double the price for. Safety is key with all Answer helmets and the Evolve 4 MIPS passes some of the toughest safety standards today. Comfort is addressed with Answer’s round-oval shell shape and using top of the line SilverCool® wicking material in the interior. Shell design features great venting, a strengthened chinbar and large eye port that accommodate most goggles including "over the glasses" types.
Shell is made of injection molded polycarbonate.
MIPS liner is between the comfort foam and the EPS liner.
SilverCool® moisture wicking liner is removable for easy washing.
SilverCool® padding also reduces odor and is anti-microbial.
9 intake and exhaust vents help keep you cool.
4 eyebrow vents help evaporate sweat before it drips into eyes and goggles.
Wire mesh chinbar vent has foam filter.
Flexible rubber nose/cheek piece to help deflect roost.
Meets or exceeds the DOT FMVSS 218 safety standard.
For proper fit and size measure the circumference of your head 1" above your eyebrows and around the largest portion of the back of your head.
20 3/8" - 21 1/8" ----------- X-Small
21 1/4" - 22" --------------- Small

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a specialized helmet safety technology that is now being used in the top tier of off road helmets in order to greatly lessen the chances of traumatic brain injury.
By integrating an engineered low-friction layer into the liner of the helmet, MIPS enables a relative sliding motion between the head and the helmet so angular and rotational impact forces are absorbed and deflected.
Since most head impacts occur at oblique and unpredictable angles, helmets with MIPS Technology are able to offer better protection than helmets without.
