Great helmet but easily scuffed
Super light and comfortable with a a great field of vision. Only gripe is it scratches easy. 1st ride was a muddy one and removing goggles multiple times during the day provided numerous scratches because of the strap. Not any helmet would have done better but still disappointing to see them after day 1.

I'm just getting back into off-road/adventure riding after a 20 year layoff, prior to that I raced motocross for many years as well as a bit of flat track and ice. I was going to get an adventure helmet, but nothing I wanted was available so I went with my old standby - the Shoei motocross helmet. I've always worn Shoei helmets as they fit so well and are so comfortable. This one did not disappoint! It fits like a dream, The size charts puts me right in the middle between a large an XL. I opted for the XL and it fits perfectly.

Awesome helmet. Cheeks fit really snug.
Make sure to try one of these helmets on before you buy it. Fits great, really snug, and I have a big head. I wear a size large. But the cheeks pinch a bit so you need to wear down the pads on the inside before it fits comfortably. Just a heads up.
