Bell Helmets from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.

Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and DOT and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.

Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

    Great helmet for adventure riding

Great value, has some features even higher priced helmets don't have. A friend purchased this and a more expensive helmet to see which he liked better. He sent the expensive one back.

    It's good.

New to riding & helmets, so no reference for comparison. Prefer this style, fits well, not heavy. Little hard on the ears. Price seems reasonable.

Going to switch to an open face style.

Seems to be a pretty nice helmet. Probably will return it though. That chin guard business just isn't for me. Exhaling with the visor shut means fog up. A couple of the vent sliders are kind of loose & sloppy. Am totally new to wearing any type of helmet so don't put too much store in my opinions. Ordered an open face style. Hasn't arrived yet.

I would wear two if I could

It's an excellent fitting helmet with many features. I love the weight of this helmet. It doesn't feel like your wearing anything. I had the opportunity of trying this on before I purchased it online. I knew right away that my original helmet was ill fitting and uncomfortable and this was the one I should have bought from the start. There was a mixup on the shipping but the team here helped fix it and get me out on the road.

Good value for what it is!

Sizing is true to manufacturers specifications. The helmet feels really nice and accommodates any sort of glasses really well. Only slight problem I have is at low speeds mouth breathing tends to fog up the shield lol. As long as the vents are open and you're going above 15 mph mouth breathing is fine.
