From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

the concept is awesome. however, everything is exactly as they say 3 helmets in one. the detachable lower half is a real pain in the back side to release... all other parts are flawless. I've had 2 other scorpion helmets ... the evo 250 and the fullface version too. the weight difference is so much better. but the sizing is off for this helmet. i took and xl in old style and on the covert x seems loose.... i would suggest one size down. i use scullcandy indy evo pods will riding straight pipe harley..... i can hear music just fine and the chin straps apply enough side pressure to keep them in ear even in half shell mode.i did notice that previous version air vents circulate air better though. all in alll would purchase againRead All Reviews

Overall, very happy with the purchase. Originally ordered a Fox Racing V2 but the fitment was not even close to the measurements listed on their site. Ended up returning and got this one as my secondary choice, It should have been my first. Well built, very comfortable and secure. Its light and the finish is very nice. The only thing I wish they would include is a bag that offered a bit more protection like the Fox versions. I may end up getting a bigger bag to offer more protection during storage and transport in the trucks and trailers. Rocky Mountain made the return very easy on the original helmet. Really can't say enough about them.Read All Reviews
