Excellent helmet. Very comfortable and the XL fit me perfect as my head size is intermediate and measures 24 inches. I wore it around the house for a few days to break in the padding, and that helped a lot. It is very lightweight compared to my older Arai helmet and the 17 vents work great here in steamy Florida. The clear shield provides excellent field of view with no distortion. The sun shield works very well. This is the best dual sport helmet I have owned and my first AFX product. Excellent value at their price point. Highly recommended.Read All Reviews

I bought this helmet to ride the Barstow to Vegas last year. I'm 5-4 and new bikes are so tall I have problems. I lowered my Sixdays 2 inches and it's still too tall, but that's all I'm giving up on my suspension. Needless to say in 400 miles I fell - a lot. Slower riders in the technical sections and sand washes put a rider into situations you can't control and of course I created a few of my own. I'm 63 and plenty bruised up from 50 years of MX and dirt bikin so I bought lots of braces and wore a backpack. When I fell I rolled like a football without injury. A few times I had to find my visor and "snap' it back on. I mounted my GoPro on the underside of the visor between my eyes, it worked very well and didn't get a scratch on it.Read All Reviews
