  As a tall and fat guy 6'6'' 280lbs I can say I never expected to find a knee guard that fits. I got the 2x/3x size and they are very comfortable. At times I forget that I am wearing them. I asked my wife to punch me in my bad knee to see how they do. She hurt her hand and my knee was fine. The hinge that the other reviewer brought up seems to get better after breaking these in.

  Best knee pads I've owned

  Awesome pads, I saw these and thought, " I'll give them a try." Been wearing braces and after wearing these pads, I'll stick with the pads. They were a little tight at first because of the inner compression sleeve; I just kinda took my hands and yanked/stretched out the cuffs on the inner sleeve and now they fit great. I had Leatt pads before and they were too thin, these are much more protective and comfortable.
