  I spent a lot of time figuring out what I wanted for body armor. The price tag was daunting, but I ultimately felt like the rib protection was worth it. This is really the best option if you want to protect your core completely. I love that the chest/back protection can be worn under or over your jersey. It's definitely warm, but very comfortable and does the job. I have taken a few spills in rocky areas and got back up with no issues.
