Being the original light weight racewear to come to market wasn't enough. Fly Racing continues through the past 5 seasons to develop and improve their Lite racewear line through constant feedback from their athletes - both amateur and pro alike. With the addition of BOA® technology waist adjustment system, the goal continues to create the lightest, most functional, and breathable racewear with an athletic tailored fit, that's almost unnoticeable. Each panel has been carefully analyzed to ensure that the rider has maximum flexibility, breathability and support where needed. The styling of the Lite line this year was inspired by the extensive study of top athletic products and tech from around the world combined with global trends and Fly's own creativity. Three words to best sum up their Lite Hydrogen line: simplicity, progression and precision.
Revolutionary integrated BOA® closure system. The BOA® system offers fast, on-the-fly micro adjustability that provides a truly "Dialed In" fit, with the simple turn of a dial creating unparalleled comfort and performance.
90% stretch panel construction for maximum comfort and movement.
Leather heat shield panels with DuPont™ Kevlar® stitching.
Multi-directional stretch-rib panels for flexibility.
Mesh panels on back of knee and lower leg.
Low profile stretch leg cuffs with removable elastic band.
Ergonomically pre-shaped knee generously contoured to accommodate most types of knee braces and guards.
Full-floating seat surrounded by stretch-rib material moves naturally with your body.
I've been running Moose Sahara and Leatt pants fort he past several years.
Moose Sahara held up amazingly well but were bulky and felt heavy despite being summer pants. Leatt on the other hand felt super light and also held up well, but were tight in the knees and loose in the waist with very little ability to cinch things down (no sansa belts, etc.). 1/3 through every race they'd slide down...
Having just found Fly Lite's I wish I would have changed as soon as they incorporated the Boa system. These feel super light, have tons of ventilation, have padded roomy knees and you can easily find the right waist sizing between the buckle and Boa.
Literally nothing I would change on these pants. Might be a hair cold in the winter months with all the venting though...
