The newest version of Fly Racing’s Patrol Jacket is all about delivering versatility and customization to hardcore off-road riders. The updates to the jacket are significant, with big changes to the jacket’s venting layout and overall style, but Fly has kept the purpose of the jacket the same, which makes it perfect for changing temperatures and riders that want a highly adjustable jacket.

Construction quality and abrasion resistance are still very high thanks to a durable nylon construction and ballistic nylon overlays in the high-wear areas like the elbows. The sleeves are also completely removable so the jacket can quickly be transitioned into a vest that’s ideal for very hot or muggy weather. The Patrol’s aggressive new look is largely due to the revamped ventilation that’s now spread across the entire upper body. With the "X" orientation of the zippered vents stretching across the chest and abdomen, the new Patrol lets air reach the entire torso, not just the chest like most other jackets.

Storage is some of the best with seven pockets spread across the jacket, including a large storage pouch on the lower back that’s ideal for holding the jacket’s sleeves when they’re removed. Add in reflective accents that help you get noticed and several points of fit adjustment that allow for a chest protector to be worn underneath, and the Patrol represents one of the best values for off-road riding jackets.
