The Fly Racing Patrol XC Pants are a new offering from Fly that are unique because they combine the ergonomics and high mobility of an mx pant with the features and increased durability of an adventure pant—making it great for dual-sport and enduro riders that spend lots of time off road. The pant’s main chassis is made from a very tough 900 denier synthetic fabric for abrasion resistance, but there’s also an impressive amount of features built into that technical outer shell. The most important of these features are the accordion and multi-stretch panels at the major points where you need articulation like the knees, crotch, and seat.

That level of mobility is great when you’re working hard on the bike, but there’s also six zippered vents on the front and back of the pant to make sure you don’t overheat. On top that, the Patrol XC Pants also have zippered pockets on the thighs, a pre-curved fit to maximize comfort in the riding position, and patches of reflectivity to help get you noticed. Compared to most other off-road, inside-the-boot pants, that’s a lot of very usable features. Combine those features with Fly’s typical high quality and affordable price, and it makes the Patrol XC one of the most versatile off-road pants available.
