Great helmet but thought the lens was tinted but it's clear.

A few nice features. Built in sunshade. Removable ear coverings and adjustable for rear head size. And Bell has a good reputation

This helmet has it all, but goggles dont fit with the visor open. If they update this helmet to fit goggles i would buy again! But instead, my search continues for the perfect DS Lid.

the concept is awesome. however, everything is exactly as they say 3 helmets in one. the detachable lower half is a real pain in the back side to release... all other parts are flawless. I've had 2 other scorpion helmets ... the evo 250 and the fullface version too. the weight difference is so much better. but the sizing is off for this helmet. i took and xl in old style and on the covert x seems loose.... i would suggest one size down. i use scullcandy indy evo pods will riding straight pipe harley..... i can hear music just fine and the chin straps apply enough side pressure to keep them in ear even in half shell mode.i did notice that previous version air vents circulate air better though. all in alll would purchase again

Experience coming from an Icon Variant, and Bilt Explorer. This is stepping into a nice quality helmet coming from the Variant. It's still loud, it's a dual sport helmet, but it's measurably quieter than the helmets I've come from. A lot of noise comes from air coming back in behind your ears, and this one has a nice seal back there. I measure about 23 inches, and for me "PERSONALLY" the large feels perfect. The clasp is weird, and to cinch it tight enough makes it feel weird to get it to work. It's very light and with the peak you can feel the drag a little more than the Variant, but it's no more tiring than supporting a heavier helmet on a long ride. The transistion lens is amazing. Yes it tints quickly when it's up, I have glasses that do this, it's fine, it's AMAZING. Biggest complaint on the helmet is the first notch to open is too high. Is the Arai nicer without me even having tried it? Yes, but this is a very nice place to put your skull. Missing a star for lack of snell rating, but understandable as to why it isn't. TLDR: If you think you might like it, then grab one, you'll probably really like it.
