  Great value. Shame on the fit

  Incredibly well made. So nice to see RMATV using an established membrane, and Event at that. Sadly, I returned these pants because there are some issues. I guess that's fair, but that is part of the problem. Fit is important, and no matter what these guys try to tell you, baggy, clunky gear is just an excuse for poor design. Stretch panels go a long ways toward solving lots of fit issues. The ass and hips are just massive. So much extra fabric flopping around. The Level 1 D30 is a way to say armor is included but it needs to be level 2 so plan on upgrading that. It's an inexpensive upgrade, so I don't really understand why they don't do it from the beginning. For me, the biggest issue with these pants is the high waist. I can't sit comfortably with these pants on. At least in the proper size, and I tried 2 pairs of pants (34 &36). Maybe, they break in and get better, but the waist is so high, it dug into my belly and was really uncomfortable. I look forward to seeing these in a Ver 2 with fit issues resolved. If you're happy with Klim fit, you might be happy with these, but if you're frustrated with how clunky Klim fits, these are a step in the right direction, but still pretty far off. The Superfabric panel is quite large on the knee. Impressive. I do think these are an incredible value at the current price. Event is not cheap and its impressive that they chose this membrane. I really wanted these pants to work. I would've kept them if it wasn't for that high, uncomfortable waist.

  Great fit and construction. I love that they even fit over my huge Gaerne SG12 mx boots. The only thing I would change would be to add a zipper on back to attach to jackets.

  Really great pants, great fit, I'm a 36 and 36 is perfect, but no hip pads included? Pretty weak, otherwise 5 stars. Pockets are a nice feature, so are the zip vents.

  I was hesitant on ordering these pants. I wear a 14 in women’s and I honestly didn’t think they would fit. Boy was I surprised! They fit great and make my butt look awesome. If you are on the fence about them, don’t be they are great pants.
