Great product, pay attention to sizing. I ordered too large. Straps stretch but don?t allow for undersizing so go a bit smaller than you think.

I wanted to love these. I put them on and wore them around the house for at least an hour and I was convinced they would be perfect. The small/medium size fit great on my skinny legs. The level of protection is awesome. They feel comfortable with the soft impact foam. However, when I went for my first ride I quickly realized these are not for me. They severely limit my range of motion. I had a hard time just getting my leg over my bike, and kick starting. It also takes effort to maintain a seated position. These things want to be straight, you have to work to bend them. Maybe its worse because I'm tall (6'5) and my leg angle is more extreme.

I have skinny legs. The small/medium fit perfectly with the velcro strap tightened all the way. These stay put on my knees and do not slip down. They are very comfortable and they have a nice cut out behind the knee so the fabric doesn't bunch up. They also don't restrict my movement as much as some other pads I have tried. I actually forgot I was wearing them on my first ride with them. I wish there was a bit more protection. The knee cap has good coverage, and there is a small pad on the inner side of each leg. I'm 6'5" and the pad doesn't quite reach the top of my boots. Overall I'm glad to find something comfortable that offers some protection.

I love Alpinestars products, but these didn't work for me. The 2 straps do not sufficiently hold the knee guard in place and I have it tight to my leg. There is no hype extensive protection because the guard will just move out of the way. It wouldn't allow me to get my full range of motion before it slides down. I went and bought Leatt Dual Axis knee guards and they stay in place with their 3 straps. They have padding around the straps so I don't have to wear super long socks and they already protected me from a bad crash caused by a poorly formed jump face. Plus I barely notice they are on.

I have had the same knee pads since I was 12 years old. I am 45 now. I thought it might be time to get a new pair and try something different that the Velcro straps were not so stretched and worn that they were basically useless. I have only used these one time and after about an hour of riding they were rubbing my knee a lot. I do have riding socks that come up over my knee but some how these things pulled them down. other than that they work like they should. I am going to play around with the adjustments more to see if I can not get that perfect fit and comfort level.

Great knee and shin guard for the price. They stay in place during hard riding and fit in the boot nicely. I have had them for a while and had zero problems.
