Nice helmet with Turbine Core tech built in
I purchased this helmet to replace my old HJC-CLX4 helmet. Fits pretty good, I have a round head and Face. The Fox V1 helmets are too narrow where I can't put this over my head. This Leatt helmet is not as narrow, but I do have to pull the chin straps apart while inserting my head. Once in, the fit feels pretty good. I also noticed the top of my ears seem to scrunch a little bit, doesn't hurt just annoying. Seems almost like my head goes up in too far. But after several rides, the foam broke in and now I can't feel the issue anymore. It is very light weight and seems to have a smaller footprint. I noticed it is easier to put the helmet in my gear bag compare to my old HJC CLX4 helmet. One thing that I do not like is that the visor does not come down as far thus it is hard to get the sun out of your eyes. Also, Just last weekend. the top center visor screw just broke. The good, is now I can bring the visor down lower to block the sun, the bad, is I need to replace that screw. Wish they would have lowered the placement of that screw then I would have given this helmet a better rating. Also note: the visor screws break too easily. I just went to get one out of the bag and noticed one of the spare ones is broken also. It does come with 3 spares.

Really Tight
Per the sizing information I ordered a med helmet but I literally could not get it on my head. I felt based on the way it fit that I should order an XL but because of the sizing chart and past experience with helmets I felt it would have been way too big. I was wrong. I exchanged it with a large and could barely get it on. I just returned it on my dime and will go to an actual store and purchase one. As a reference I have always worn a med helmet and a sm/md hat (I have fat cheeks).

Great helmet, I liked it so much I got another one.
I have a big head and this helmet fits great. It also allows me look up the next hill while going down a hill while wearing a neck brace.

My measurement is exactly 22”, would it be better to go with the small (21 5/8-22”) or the medium (22 1/4-22 3/4”) helmet? Thanks!
Kim E on Mar 15, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I measure 22-3/4 which is the biggest measurement on the size Medium helmet, which is what I bought. The shell fits perfectly without the cheek pads and very snug with them in. I would get the Small if I were you, try it on first without the cheek pads to make sure the shell fits since you are also at the high end of the Small’s size range. You might need to go with a thinner cheek pad but you need to make sure the bucket fits right first.
