Bought this on closeout for the kid who was ready for an Adult S. Ive only got 2 criticisms. The shell on this adult small is HUGE. The kid looks like a cartoon character compared to his FLY YXL. Maybe not the best choice for small kids with huge heads. Second criticism is the top of the helmet has a point so there is no good spot for a GoPro on top. Did mount a ProShot on the mouth. Ventilation appears to be excellent. Would have bought one for myself but lacked a 3x. Colors absolutely pop on this
This bucket one heck of a value. Its got everything, safety, comfort, looks, large FoV, light weight and monster ventilation. I did size up one size and its snug, especially the cheeks but the oval shape fits my noggin with no pressure points and once riding I forget its even on.
After reading the previous reviews I decided to purchase as a spare helmet for play riding. It seems to be a great product and as mentioned in the reviews it runs small. I usually wear a XL-XXL depending on brand and went with an XXL that fits like my XL Bell and XXL 6D.
Love the style and graphics! It also comes with interchangeable features. Looks and fits great! I would definitely recommend this, especially for the price. I collect helmets and this one is right up there with my more expensive ones!! Thanks Rocky Mountain, another great delivery from Santa!!!
I bought 2 of these on clearance, one for me and the other for my girlfriend. The sizing is true, i wear a large in bell and agv, and a large fit my just the same. Only wore them a few times, looking foward to see how the helmet holds up over time
I was looking at this helmet last year. Kinda wild in the color scheme but I like it. The check pads are a bit too tight. I emailed the factory rep to see if they had any thiner ones and they do not. He said give it some time and it will soften a bit. That is pretty much what I was thing too
Awesome Helmet! Be attentive to LS2 sizing (they run small)
Excellent ventilation for late spring riding. My regular helmet size is XL, but after reading additional reviews for LS2 I ordered one size up (XXL). Best decision, because the helmet does run small. Refer to other RMATV LS2 helmet reviews, most indicate that LS2 run on the smaller side.
I love this helmet. You dont feel like your even wearing a helmet. It has great ventilation even when your riding hard and breathing heavy you can feel fresh air all around your face. Its a new feeling to me i usually buy a cheap hundred dollar helmet and these are definitely worth every penny. And the picture does not do it justice at all.
It’s a quality helmet and looks good but runs seriously small. I wear a 3XL and with the 3X on this my nose was touching the face guard, it looks like it has one of the longest face guards because the opening is cut really far back to fit huge goggles and have a great field of view. The face guard is really one of the shortest on the market, says it’s For long oval heads but it really is not. That said, it’s still a really high quality helmet with tons of ventilation and looks awesome. The padding is comfy if you don’t have a huge head. Would certainly buy another one if they sold them in 4X with a larger shell.
