Great helmet for the price
Needed a new helmet and summer in NC is really hot. Did an extream enduro without that other week and it definitely vented better than my fox v3. Not as comfortable though but it's like half the price. Wore a xl in the fox v3 and this fit the same

Great look and comfort
I would say that I have a narrow oval head and this helmet is probably more for a rounder head but fits good and feels great. Kids love the look also!

Near Perfect Helmet (for me)
This is a great helmet for the 9-10 months worth of warm to hot riding weather in Arizona. The venting is excellent even on slower, higher effort technical trails. It is comfortable enough and light enough to wear on all-day rides. My only critique, and it is an extremely minor critique, is that the liner could be easier to remove and replace. There are some little tabs that are a bit fiddly to fit back in place once they're out. If nothing changed about this helmet I would still keep buying it over and over again. In fact, I did! There was nothing wrong with the first one I bought, but I liked it so much that I bought a spare!

Great for hot weather riding
I typically ride in 95+ degrees with the humility between 75% and 100%. So airflow is a must. riding slow single track this helmet ventilates enough that I do not sweat much at all, over heating is not an issue at all. I would highly recommend this helmet for the warmer temperatures

I bought this helmet to use for slow technical single track during warm weather. I've been very pleased with the ventilation, the fit was tight at first but broke in during the first ride and has been comfortable since, The finish and liner are holding up well. I would recommend this helmet,

My favorite helmet
Of all the helmets I've tried on I love this one the most. Part of it is the fit which for my head is perfect. The look also helps because I really like the aggressive look. One thing to note is that I have Oakley mayhem goggles and had to remove the nose piece for them to sit correctly. It was an easy fix as they pop off but it still had to happen. The helmet has tons of vents BUT don't be fooled as many of them are not active.

What is the weight of this helmet?
JIM P on Feb 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: About 3 Lbs.
It looks as though the top is all vents, or is it just the graphics? That being said, how many vents does it have? Would it be considered well ventilated and recommended for riding the southeastin summer?
James B on Oct 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It has a lot of vents in the top back and front. That said, it also is very conforable to wear because the lining is very thick and soft. But, because of that I think the lining flattens out when you wear the helmet and obstructs the vents--so it does not flow as well as you would think with all those vents. Last I normally wear a large or xl depending on the helmet. I eventually had to go to a xxl helmet to fit properly. Bob White
Can you hook up a sena communication system in the helmet?
aaron c on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello, I purchased the LS2 last spring, I’m not familiar with communication system you are referring to, but I can tell you that I had to modify the cheek pads to allow my glasses to fit in the helmet. That being said, all the pads come out easy and go in easy.
What is the recommended cleaning for this inside liner? Washer bag/no bag on low, or bucket of soap and water only? Thanks!
Charles C on May 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The liner removes very easily, once removed I usually just put in the delicate cycle in the washing machine. Low temp, low spin, and then allow to air dry.
Is the white color a matte white like it looks in the picture or is it a glossy white?

Nick T on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Arai is a much better helmet,I suggest you buy that if you can afford it.This is a nice helmet but it's no Arai.Mine is very comfortable once on but the neck opening is very small, almost too small. It is a beautiful helmet though and very affordable that's why I bought one.

My current helmet is a Shoei VFX-W in a size large. How does this helmet fit by comparison? Shape and sizing help needed.

What is the sliding security structure?
James K on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: A proprietary blend of polycarbonate, space age thermoplastics and additional materials specifically formulated by LS2, KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy) Offers ultra-light weight and high penetration resistance, but with some flexibility for the ultimate in energy dispersion. This special formula meets both ECE 22.05 and DOT requirements.
My liner was damaged. Actually one of the ear pieces. Can I purchase new inside liner that is colored the same as the Factory one?
James S on Apr 2, 2019

My 8 year old son measures 22" head. With him growing, do you suggest a small or medium helmet?
MIKE H on Dec 19, 2018
