I very closely used the measurements and fit chart. They felt pretty good when I put them on for a test fit and wore them around the house for 30 minutes or so. Turns out they are super tight on the knee at the pivot point, took about an hour on the trail to realize this. I did change the pads size and that helped some. Long run, I think I will get use the the tightness. Upside is that I feel like they offer excellent protection! I did not realize that these are "slip on" only. You have to pull them up over your foot and calf, so you have to have your boots and pants off to put them on or take them off for a rest.

Brace fits well, and the conformal cuffs help make it feel secure and formed to my leg. Extra sizes of side knee pads help adjust fit to make a firm but comfortable fit. The brace padding material is some kind of foam rubber or flexible plastic. So it's going to get sweaty, but it also means you can just wipe it down when it gets stinky. I wear a spandex sleeve under the brace to help with sweat. The straps are all soft fabric, but they easily and completely detach from the frame so they can be put in the laundry. I tore my ACL, MCL and PCL riding about 6 months ago (no brace). With time, healing, surgery, and PT I'm starting to ride again. This brace really helps feel secure and add some confidence that I can take a mild fall without reinjury. Squeezing the tank with my knees is still a bit painful due to the pads on either side of the knee that lock the knee into the brace. One pad falls right over the torn MCL. I don't think this can be avoided with any other brand of brace that will actually support the knee laterally. It's pretty bulky compared to my daily carbon fiber brace, but that's probably due to all the guards on the brace. It's a dirtbike specific brace and needs all the guards. From what I read, this one is one of the slimmer ones.

Pricey, but a quality inner sleeve. Size runs true. Ordered a Large based on reviews here, but exchanging for a medium as the large was a little loose (I'm 5'8" and 165lbs).

Ive never had a knee injury, and thanks to the POD K8 Knee Braces, I plan to keep it that way. These braces are lightweight, super comfortable, and offer serious protection without feeling bulky or restrictive. The carbon fiber frame and natural hinge movement give me full confidence when riding. They fit great, stay in place, and give me peace of mind every time Im on the bike. If youre looking to prevent injuries and ride with confidence, the K8s are well worth the investment.

Soft enough to be comfortable, rigid enough to protect. These are the perfect brace for youth riders. Not obstructive at all, while offering maximum coverage.
