the concept is awesome. however, everything is exactly as they say 3 helmets in one. the detachable lower half is a real pain in the back side to release... all other parts are flawless. I've had 2 other scorpion helmets ... the evo 250 and the fullface version too. the weight difference is so much better. but the sizing is off for this helmet. i took and xl in old style and on the covert x seems loose.... i would suggest one size down. i use scullcandy indy evo pods will riding straight pipe harley..... i can hear music just fine and the chin straps apply enough side pressure to keep them in ear even in half shell mode.i did notice that previous version air vents circulate air better though. all in alll would purchase againRead All Reviews

Very comfortable and very quiet. It was 38 degrees out today and absolutely no fog in the visor (even when I tried to make it fog haha). It does whistle at 30 mph with the visor all the way open. It has a small "wind through a tunnel" sound when the visor is closed but it's barely noticeable and with my music playing I can't hear it. I would highly recommend this helmet for anyone who is budget conscious but also wants the highest rated protection available.Read All Reviews

This helmet is hard to beat for the price. It is comfortable and good ventilation. The chin bar is much lighter than my old Scorpion modular helmet, and haven?t experienced a tendency to roll forward. My only gripe at this point is the vent on top doesn?t seem to fully close. Being a ?follicaly challenged? rider, cutting off any airflow on cold rides can be a big deal. I will see how it works as the temps warm up!Read All Reviews
