As a premium google coming in just below the Airbrake, Oakley’s new Front Line Goggle is made for the rider that wants crystal-clear vision without having to sacrifice any safety or comfort. Oakley does it all by integrating several features that use their own unique and proprietary technology.

First up is the Front Line’s Plutonite lens. With an injection-molded construction and a pre-curved shape, the Plutonite lens is not bent or curved when it’s installed in the goggle, giving you clear, distortion-free visuals. On top of that, Oakley’s Prizm lens technology gives the lens optical filters that increase visual contrast, making it easier for a rider to pick out obstacles, notice terrain changes, and cut through the harsh changes between sun and shadow.

The lens is attached to the Front Line frame using Ridgelock technology that doesn’t just secure the lens in place, it also creates a 360 degree seal around the lens to keep dirt, dust, and the elements out of the goggle. Combined with the outrigger-style frame, triple-layer face foam, and an extra-wide strap, the Front Line measures up as one of the most advanced goggles currently out there.

      Specs:
    • Plutonite lens eliminates visual distortion while increasing impact strength
    • Extended frame outriggers to fit seamlessly with most Motocross helmets
    • Ridgelock Lens Technology for completely sealed, rimless look and quick lens changing capability
    • Ridgelock Lens creates seal that keeps dirt and dust out of the goggle
    • Triple layer face foam wicks sweat and increases comfort
    • Extra-wide 50 mm strap holds goggle in place against helmet
    • Includes an anti-fog treated high-impact resistant lens
    • Includes a removable nose guard
    • Includes Perimeter-Sealed laminated tear-offs
    • Discreet frame notches at temples provide compatibility with most prescription eyewear
    • Optional Prizm lens increases contrast to distinguish obstacles and terrain

    Fogging issue
It was my first time using these goggles and I'm new to riding this year. It was about 75 degrees in the evening and when we took breaks during our ride, my goggles would fog up at the top near my eyebrows. I would only expect something like this to happen on a cold day, but not when it is warm/hot. I love the look of these, but I can't stand having foggy goggles while I'm riding and the sun is in my eyes.

    Great goggles
The Oakley Front Line are a great goggle.I do a lot of trail riding in mid Michigan and I am going from dark shaded areas to bright sunny open areas and the clarity is great. It helps to pickup on upcoming obstacles..I would have given them 5 stars if they weren't so expensive.

Best part is the lens, nose gaurd is in there tight
The lens on these goggle are the only thing from keeping me from sending them back. The lens seems like it will really protect if needed. Riding in the woods, the face can get hit quite a bit and this is comforting. It does not fit well with the Leatt GPX helmet without removing the nose guard which was a bit of work and not as easy as other goggles I have owned. Once removed though, these googles fit the leath gpx very well. no room for branches and nose if covered mostly by helmet faceguard/beak. The size of the foam is too thick for my size face, hoping it will mat down a little because as it is the googles are flush with the outside edge of the helmet - maybe that's normal, not sure.

I will continue try other brands, but those lens will be tough to beat.

I just got these goggles delivered, took them out of the box and the strap popped out from the frame. There is a ridge that is clearly supposed to snap in, but I push it in and then it popped back out repeatedly. It seems to be holding for now, but this is not a good first impression. The slot the strap end goes into looks a little bowed out and larger than it needs to be and not sure if that is normal. Anyone else experience this?

I wear prescription glasses, the are small frameless lens. Do you think they would fit in the front line goggles?
    Scott B on Nov 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They should fit. We test fitted these with people who have glasses and they edges on the insides of the goggles are cut out to accommodate smaller glasses. The goggles can be flexed open a bit then put on to wrap around some prescription glasses.
What’s the difference between these and the airbrakes?
    Kennedy G on Nov 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The frame and foam on the face is different along with the lens. They are completely different style of goggle.
Will these fit a fly helmet?
    A shopper on Mar 13, 2018
    BEST ANSWER: Yes.
Does it come with a case?
    Cade B on Dec 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a drawstring bag.
Is the foam and outriggers replicable?
    Maximus M on Jun 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Do you mean replaceable or replicable?
I race Hare Scrambles so I'm going in and out of the woods. I usually use clear lenses because tinted make it hard to see in the woods. has anyone uses the prizm lens in the woods? were you still able to see in the woods? thanks
    Joshua V on Jun 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes these will give you better visibility. They help distinguish obstacles. The tint will have some effect on the shadows though so a lighter color like the blue lens may be beneficial for you.
Does it come with tear offs?
    Ethan A on Jul 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the tear offs are included.
