Way better than a backpack
Very happy I made the switch to this vest. Spreads the weight out much better and makes it feel lighter even though I have more stuff in it than I did with a backpack. The conceal carry holster is ambidextrous and works on both front pockets but the holster is ehhhh. Definitely significantly warmer to wear vs a backpack but the trade off is worth it.

Sweet vest. Light and packable.
Love this thing. It is a race fit, but I'd say true to size. 6'0 170lbs. Almost all of my gear is 32 waist, medium jerseys. Went large as it needs to fit over chest protector, multiple layers. Probably could have got away with a medium.

Super versatile
I ride in all seasons and this vest is my go to for cold, damp riding and early mornins. Keeps your core warm and dry and I never overheat as the day warms up. Has a fitted feel, doesnt get in the way and has withstood countless run ins with branches and Manzanita. Ive re treated it a couple times with spray on dwr and it even keeps me dry in full on rain.
