  Far above expectation at price

  These pants are above my expectations. Road a couple hours 33-35 Deg. weather spitting snow legs never felt the chill. Rocky Mountain ATV delivery was exceptionally fast expected around Wed. or later was on porch Sun. morning before my ride, awesome. I will definitely do business again.

  Like many have mentioned, these pants run SMALL. I'm a taller dude. 6'3" 235lbs. Average athletic build. My normal every day pant size is a 36" waist with a belt and a 34" inseam. I purchased the 2XL and they fit ok at the waist, but that was kind of about it. Worn at the waist, the crotch was about half way down my thigh. Which, ok, no big deal. But that placed the knee pads half way down my shins. These would be great if worn with suspenders as I had to pull them up above my belly button for the pant dimensions to fit properly. Was not able to make them work and had to return them.

  Klim Dakar Pant

  Good, But....

  I Have an older pair of Klim Dakar pants. After 7 years I was due for a new set. There are still in pretty good shape, but have a few tears and wear areas. I ordered this current version of the Dakar pant and immediately I noticed they did not feel as "sturdy" or "tough" as the previous pair. The materials used seem thinner, not as heavy duty as the old pair. Maybe it is new types of tougher materials? We'll see how they last. They are still good Klim quality, but just didn't "feel" as good as the last pair. They are comfortable, zippers are better, and they breathe well. Just can't give 'em a 5 star like the old pair.

  Son LOVES this gear!!

  Son absolutely LOVES these pants! Bought him 2 different styles of Alpine Star for Xmas. He has worn multiple brands prior to these. He races trails. He looked me in my face and said, ?I will never wear another brand?. They are curved to allow padding and braces underneath. The seat is true to size. The waistline has extra support. He LOVES how the thighs have extra padding and help grip the bike. In his teenager language, he said, ?These are clean!?
