    Great boot for 100 bucks

I need a trail work boot that was lighter weight than my $500 riding boots.

    Made for chicken legs.

Here’s what I like, the buckles are simple and seem reliable, that’s it. I wear a size 12 and could barely get into the 12 boot. I swapped them for a size 13, the 13 still was still tight on the toe area from mid foot to the end of my small toe, and really tight in the ankle. I’m 6’ 200lbs, not a heavy or big boned guy, but the ankle is too tight everywhere, rubs on the inside, pinches the front when flexing, and I had to have the buckles to the loosest setting to get them to fit. These were made for skinny little chicken legs and I don’t even have wide feet or big ankles. I also feel that there is too much ankle flexion and extension, it’s good for walking, but would concern me for the amount of movement when riding. Way overpriced and under designed, the design sounds great, and fits terrible. My 10 year old $250 AXO prime boots are way more comfortable, very disappointing.

    Ridiculously comfortable

I wish I had regular shoes this comfortable. Best boots I’ve had in 30 years of riding and I’ve tried them. I ride a lot in mountains and Moab so the traction soles are a must, especially on wet slick rock. I have larger calves and wide feet. No problems at all with the width but a little tight first time on the calves. Break in was quick, though. Wear 12s in just about everything and they seemed true to size. I’d say they’re pricey but I believe you get what you pay for so to me, it’s a bargain.
