Details

The new Sidi Crossfire 3 TA is an all new model for those riders who prefer that feel of a sewn on sole vs. the more firm SR version. The 3 TA is identical in features to the 3 SR, with the exception of the sole. The TA model has a softer rubber sole that is more comfortable if you do some walking/bike wrestling in your boots and also accommodates those riders with a slightly wider foot.
  • All new ankle pivot system is designed to have a "hard" limit of foot/ankle hyperextension.
  • A laminated Techno-micro is used as the base material in all areas.
  • Slim, cool non-bootie design.
  • Calf plate system features an inner double adjustment that expands to fit even the largest calf or knee brace system!
  • Nylon insole no dangerous steel shank!
  • TA sole is best suited for riders who may walk in their boots some.
  • TA sole is made of anti-skid rubber and can be replaced by a cobbler.
  • TA sole features excellent rear brake feel.
  • Inner heat shield made of high grip material.
  • New inner boot gaiter has a larger circumference than the Crossfire 2 making for a tight seal around the rider’s lower leg no matter which knee brace system may be used. Upper inside of the gaiter features an anti-heat suede protection-grip panel.
  • Removable arch support.
  • Toe area covered in protective plastic.
  • An all new rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel holds the riders foot firm and thus resists twisting while offering added protection.
  • Replaceable, sleek, micro adjustable cam lock buckle system with memory retention nylon straps.
  • All buckles move independently of each other and have just one fixed point (by a screw). This allows an easy closure and the buckles can adapt to the rider’s position as they pivot on the mounting screw as the rider changes position on the bike.
  • Lower buckle guards help protect against opening due to an impact.

Love these boots.
Comfortable and durable, if a bit pricey. They have also saved me from broken bones and a trip to the emergency room, so maybe not that pricey after all.

Probably the best boots for skinny calves
This is obviously a premium boot for a premium price, but it's Sidi. They know what they're doing. They're not quite as comfortable as my old Oxtar (yeah, they were that old) TCX Pros were with their booties, but they're far from uncomfortable.

One of my favorite things about them is that they're the first boot I've ever had that fits my calves. I'm a tall, lanky dude so I adjusted all the calf panels to the tighter setting and they fit fantastic. I don't even have to shove the adjuster straps all the way in. On other boots the top two straps could be all the way in and the boots would still be a bit loose around my calves.

Other than that, they're Sidi. They're tough. Parts are replaceable. Best boots on the market if you ask me.

Not as good as they use to be. Had to send them back.
Well I have run Sidi crossfire boots for about 15yrs or should I say had the same pair untill they finally fell apart. So I order an new pair of CF ta 3's. But I also had bought a pair of sg12 to see which ones I liked better. Started wearing the sg12 cause they came first. And thought they were a little bulky and had to adjust levers and stuff to be happy. But they were comfortable. And super night quality.
Then I got the crossfire 3's and I was glad I had also bought the first pair. 1st they run small. 2nd they were just as heavy as the sg12. 3rd the plastic was so thin and flexible that I figured I would twist my ankle in these. They have hinge points but the plastic was so thin and flexible that the hinges didn't move and the plastic would bow and bend and buckle in stead of working properly. In my opinion. Sidi has lost its quality. I sent them back they in my opinion we're not a top tier boot and not quality enough for what I would have put them through.
They are pretty comfy on your feet tho.

Awesome Boots
As someone who has normal to somewhat wide feet I went with the TA since these were a little wider. They felt snug and maybe a hair narrow in the house when I got them, but when I went out and rode they broke in fast and are amazingly comfortable. The hyper extension and flexion protection is great and I feel like it adds some real protection and stability. The boots seem tough and very protective. I can work the controls really well with my feet and haven't had any issues. Upgraded from 3 year old Tech 5's and I really love these boots so far. Only two full weekends of riding in, so I can't comment on durability. But they seem like they will hold up well.

Excellent Boots
I watched the video Chase did on the Sidi boots, and he said the foot bed was narrower than other boots, and that's why I bought them. I currently own a pair of Tech7s and the Sidi is a tad more narrow. I walked around the house in them for a couple hours and after one ride they felt broke in. I have great feel of my controls, and they feel great with my knee braces. They don't squeak when you walk in them either. Over the past 35 years ive owned many different brands, but I'm now a Sidi guy for sure.

Predictable quality
Predictable quality, fit and finish. The TA sole is nice if you are on your feet building trail or lurking around in the bushes. Beware, with the plastic exoskeleton these are squeak boots to walk in and there's no sneaking around.

best boots out there
Best boots I have ever had. They are pricey but you will not find a better boot. They fill broke in out of box and are good to go after two rides. Will never go back to another boot company again. I am a Sidi guy from now on. Dude I ride with told me how he loves his , and I was in need of new boots so I thought I would give these a go. They are killer, will never go back to any others again. Sidi knew what they where doing when they made the crossfire 3.

Great Boots
Highly recommend. Very comfortable and plenty of adjustment for those with smaller or larger calves. The softer sole is nice and makes it easier to feel the rear brake lever compared to my old boots. I gave them a 3 on value because they aren't cheap, but worth the money. Wish they made a 10.5, though.

I wear 4E width shoes. Will these boots work for me?
patrick e on Feb 24, 2020
i wear a size 10.5 in normal shoes. what size should i get in the crossfire 3 ta?
nick b on Sep 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would go down a half to a full size. I normally wear a 13 so I ordered the 12.5. I had to return them for a 12 because they were too big.
Are the Gaerne Sg-12 or the Sidi Crossfire 3 more waterproof? I do a lot of off-road riding in wet conditions.
A shopper on Mar 22, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Occasionally I ride in wet area but mostly desert riding. I’ve never tried the gaerne boots. I wouldn’t say they are extremely waterproof but no real issues crossing creek every once in a while. My biggest issue is breathability my feet and legs get pretty sweaty during my rides. Overall I love these boots and have had multiple pairs.
How big will the calf section go in the crossfire 3 ta?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Approximately 6 to 6 and 1/2 inch in diameter.
When will you have this color and style in a size 10?

BEST ANSWER: I would be happy to take a look into this for you. What color are you looking for?
Will all white Sidi crossfire 3 ta size 48/13 be back in stock soon?
