As the middle-of-the-road option in Sidi’s off-road lineup, the X-3 Boots pack a good amount of features into a package that balances performance and price. At its heart, the X-3 is built around a traditionally-stitched sole that gives the boot its low, familiar feel, laminated Technomicro base materials that make the boot very durable, and a dual-hinge system that’s reminiscent of the Crossfire’s hinge–although less refined than .

The X-3’s interior comfort features are also worth mentioning since they go above what you’d normally see. A Cambrelle lining on the inside of the boot works to keep your foot ventilated and free from stuffy, humid air while a shock-absorbing heel cup and removable arch support both give your foot an exceptionally planted feel that’s repeatable every time you step into the boot. All in, the X-3 functions as a great mid to high-end option for aggressive off-road riders that like a narrow-fitting boot with excellent ankle support.
