Details

As the middle-of-the-road option in Sidi’s off-road lineup, the X-3 Boots pack a good amount of features into a package that balances performance and price. At its heart, the X-3 is built around a traditionally-stitched sole that gives the boot its low, familiar feel, laminated Technomicro base materials that make the boot very durable, and a dual-hinge system that’s reminiscent of the Crossfire’s hinge–although less refined than .

The X-3’s interior comfort features are also worth mentioning since they go above what you’d normally see. A Cambrelle lining on the inside of the boot works to keep your foot ventilated and free from stuffy, humid air while a shock-absorbing heel cup and removable arch support both give your foot an exceptionally planted feel that’s repeatable every time you step into the boot. All in, the X-3 functions as a great mid to high-end option for aggressive off-road riders that like a narrow-fitting boot with excellent ankle support.

Check out the X-3 SRS Boots if you want this same boot with Sidi’s quick-change SRS sole.

Not for my big feet.
I wanted these boots to fit....but....The boots were too tight at the forefoot and toes for my American big feet. I wear a 47EU size in boots and the length was spot on, but the boots were too narrow for me. Even went up a size and still too narrow and got heel slip. It is a European fit. Hated to send them back.

Great!
I absolutely love these boots. Comfortable, durable, quality materials. A lot of great protection and the double hinge is worth the extra money. The liner could use a little softer material, but they are still very comfortable right out of the box. I wasn't looking to spend $300 on boots, but I'm glad I got these instead of the cheaper boots. So much more solid and and protective. These also have a slimmer profile. If you don't want to spend $500+ but still want Sidi quality, these are perfect.

Great boot so far. Going to take my first long ride on them today. I will be getting 50-100 miles in them today. I am confident they will be even better at the end of the day

Sidi X3
I bought me he Sidi X3's for woods and dual sport riding. At first I was not sure I would like them, so I also bought a pair of SG-12's. Well after using both boots, it seems like the X-3's are getting most of the use! The X-3's are lighter and seem to be cooler, the fit for me was fine. The break in for the X-3's was slightly longer than the SG-12's.

AWESOME BOOTS
These boots are great. Fit well and have good dexterity. The two piece construction makes for a very comfortable fit.

Can I exchange boots if they don't fit?
Devin C on Jun 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can. If you try the boots on and they don't fit the way you'd like, simply return them in new, unused condition and you'll receive a full refund. And since these are an apparel item, you'll get free shipping on your first exchange/return. The link below has more info.

Are they flexable?
garret m on Oct 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Let me preface this answer with the fact that Flexibility is a relative term. These take no time to break in, once they break in, they are not that flexible but flexible enough for me in my opinion, they are more flexible than boots made by tcx, but maybe less than some other well known brands. I've crashed at around 35-40 mph and truly hurt my shin. I haven't broken any bones so I am a believer that these boots worked, worked flawlessly, did their job/served their purpose and lastly have paid for themselves already. Therefore, I'll accept the level of flexibility in these any day of week. Hope that helps.
Is the X3 "reasonably" water resistant? I live in PNW (wet coast). Currently dodging puddles during first half of ride to keep feet dry in the AM.
Damon H on Jan 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I live in central WA and ride a lot of trails with at least one significant creek crossing. The Sidi's do a pretty good job of keeping your feet dry. I rode in them all season last year and they kept my feet dry. I don't think I ever rode in really wet rainy conditions so I can't speak to that.
I'm a size twelve, do they only have this boot in 11.5 and 12.5 ?
A shopper on Mar 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have wide feet , so if it was me I would go up a half size. Sidi boots are not wide in the toe box.
