  • Alpinestars Tech 7 Boots

    I have seen the light!

These are my first "upper end" boot. I've used fly maverick, Tech 3's, and forma terrains prior to them having a hinge system. I'm not terribly picky about boots, but after riding in my new Tech 7's i'm not sure i'll ever go back to a cheaper boot. These instantly felt comfortable, and easy to move around in. I've heard of people talking about peg feel is not the greatest on these, but after using lower end boots, these have amazing peg feel to me, which also allows me to squeeze the bike better. I wear a size 12 in pretty much every shoe/boot and these are no different in sizing. I've got only about 10 hours on these, and am happy as can be. I cannot comment of durability as I have not beat them up much yet, and overall i'm pretty easy on boots.

Sidi Adventure 2 - Initial impressions

Fit is great (although I had to go up one size, so glad that I did). Initial impressions are this is a top quality boot, very comfortable out of the box, does squeak a tiny bit, but I’m sure that once you are on the bike you won’t notice it! Lots of adjustability and the protection seems solid. A great compromise between being able to walk and an MX boot.

    They fit!!!

It’s winter so no ride time with them yet but this is the only pair of boots that I have ever tried on that we’re not too narrow and I am sure I can wear them all day long. The quality of the boots is excellent.

Great boots, but protection can be an issue

Bought these boots a few years ago and they’ve held up well. They are also pretty waterproof, I have outside of the boot pants and that really helps. I’ve really been impressed with them until now. Unfortunately, my right foot went right into a root today and broke my pinky toe. Just be aware these don’t give complete protection vs a boot with a hard outer shell.

    Long Lasting "Entry Level Boot"

Went from a pair of Thor Blitz boots to these several years ago and it was a huge jump then. Now several years later they are worn out and i am thinking of getting another set of SIDI's, just the SRS version so they last even longer. Only issues ive had with this boot is that it was too tight around my ankle at first and gave me bruises, but after they broke in that went away. The metal toe guards screws came out, but was easily fixed with a new set of guards and screws. and lastly, the sole is now worn out... Everyday wear and tear... Thats why they make the SRS versions of the crossfires. Very nice boot if your looking to upgrade from a more "cheap" version of boot,

real good boots for your feet!

came out of T7s, mainly for water resistance... also i like the hard plastic around the toe area for hard enduro technical protection. they are so far water resistant when im spraying them off with the hose after a ride. i have great faith in them for riding through wet brush. they are pretty comfy (the 2TA only for me!I tried a 3TA, way too tight in ankle, SRS both were like midevil torture devices in several sizes.) the ankle area was a little tight on my stupid bony ankles but jam a big ball peen hammer into the ankle, buckle them down and a couple nights by the woodstove thats fixed. good feel, solid support.
