I bought these to replace my 20 year old knee guards because the straps were all stretched out. These Thor ones were a perfect replacement, they fit the same and the price was good! The straps were a perfect length for me, they might be tight though if you have large calves.

Cheap and effective protection for the knees and shins, don't know how they will hold up but durability seems reasonable. The slip on knee guards I had didn't protect my shins so I feel a lot better in these.

Good fit, secure straps, good protection compared to my previous "standard" type knee guards. I have skinny legs and these fit comfortably. I think I bought the size large.

Haven't worn on a ride yet but these run small. I bought the XL ones, I'm assuming they will stretch a bit from there initial size like a lot of these types of elastic band/sleeve style pads do. If your ordering a set and you measure your legs and you are close to top end of the size range I highly - highly recommend going a size up. Thanks to another review that's what I had done and they were 100% correct.

Thumbs up on the first ride. I wore EVS brand for many years, they offered good impact and some hyperextension protection but I never liked how bulky they were and how I had to wear pants or knee socks to protect from the straps digging into my legs, also tough to grip the bike with them. I decided to try these and so far I like them, less bulky, the armor feels like it will offer good impact protection and they have built in knee socks so no straps rubbing. I'm 5'11'' 175lbs, purchased the large/xl size, they fit snug on my calves and a little loose on top, but the strap secures them well. They don't offer any hyperextension/side movement limitation but that's not what they are intended for.
