  Fits true to size, fabric is breathable, comfortable and protection is rugged. I wear a wicking stretch shirt under it and it still fits perfectly close to my body under the jersey. You can remove the outer back protector for a lower profile, but there is still a layer of protection there. Fabric doesn't smell like a gym bag even after many hot days roosting the rhubarb. Great product!

  I'm 6'1" 180lbs with a 40" chest and tried both a L and XL. The size chart goes by height and says I should have an XL. The difference between the L and XL protectors is minimal, I didn't notice any difference really, but the XL shirt part was way too loose on me. The shirt has a lot of stretch and you want it to be snug so the pads stay in place properly. I ended up keeping the L because the shirt fit much better and I don't feel like the size L protector is too short for my height at all. If you're between sizes or unsure recommend sizing down especially if you're skinny. You can adjust the velcro straps on the protector but there's no adjustment in the shirt.

  Finally something that fits.

  It's tough not being the industry standard size rider of 5'8" 175 lbs. so as you know finding gear that fits is a challenge. bought this 'cuz I'm old and just getting back into riding. I am 6'4 310lbs. with a decent size tank, this fits incredibly well. the size is 3xl. the mobility is nice and its not restrictive. the construction of the piece is very good, the stitching is very good and terminated well there are no indications anything will fray soon. the zipper is YKK so it should easily last the life of the garment. Yes it's made in china but the quality of the stitching and feel of materials shows EVS has good quality control. See you on the trials at Hop-ev or cat hole!!!!!
