  Breathes great, better than you would think

  Haven't taken a spill with this , but it fits great and breathes incredibly. Got it in the dead of summer and did it's job giving me piece of mind while riding solo. Seems like mid to low abrasion protection, high impact protection. May seem obvious, but I didn't think of that when I bought it. Despite this, I would recommend it, it's a solid product.

  Almost perfect

  I love the hardshell body protector. I am 6' 215 and was between a XL and XXL. I went with the XXL. The hardshell could be a little smaller, but the web shirt with shoulder and elbow pads could not. If the hardshell fits like an XXL, the web shirt fits like a medium to large at best. It is super tight. So tight in fact that I have yet to wear it while riding. I really was after core protection anyway. If I could have found a core protector without the other, I'm sure that I could have saved a couple of hundred dollars, but I did not find anything that offered the same amount of for my core. This is just like my knee braces, it goes unnoticed after a few minutes.

  Fits true to size, fabric is breathable, comfortable and protection is rugged. I wear a wicking stretch shirt under it and it still fits perfectly close to my body under the jersey. You can remove the outer back protector for a lower profile, but there is still a layer of protection there. Fabric doesn't smell like a gym bag even after many hot days roosting the rhubarb. Great product!
