New to Can-Am’s 2020 lineup are the Defender Limited packages and the Defender PRO HD10 models – machines that are distinctive, tough, and capable. With this expansion of their popular Defender line, Can-Am continues to innovate and push the boundaries of the side-by-side industry. The new packages and models all feature refined styling for 2020, as well as added protection, enhanced capabilities, and enriched comfort.

Read on for the information about the new machines, or check out our first impressions video below.

Defender Limited Packages

Though the Defender Limited packages boast several upgrades for 2020, the hallmark addition is a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The entirely-enclosed, air-tight cabin is climate controlled, making the Defender Limited a true all-season vehicle. For those working outside year-round, this is a game changer – never has it been easier to work day and night, rain or shine, cold or hot, etc. Plus, the enclosure makes the cabin significantly quieter and more spacious, giving a comfortable and unrivaled experience for both the driver and the passengers.

Another noteworthy facet of the Defender Limited packages is their heavy-duty front steel bumpers, with an upper bumper plate to enhance the vehicle’s protection while improving its overall durability. This, paired with the 1000cc Rotax V-twin engine with 82 hp and 69 lb-ft of torque, keeps the machine up for any task, every time.

Any of the Defender Limited vehicles can be purchased in a three-person or six-person (six-person is designated by “MAX”) package to accommodate for both passenger and hauling needs. Camo and white color variations are available for both Defender Limited packages. The machines are available for purchase now, the three-person model starting at $25,199 with the MAX starting at $27,899.

Defender PRO HD10 Models

Can-Am’s Defender PRO HD10 models were built for hard work, as evident through their expansive cargo space and impressive cargo space adaptability. The massive, multifunctional cargo box is 6 ft x 4.5 ft and includes a convertible flatbed design with pass-through lower storage. The machine also features an extended wheelbase that offers exceptional stability, all while lessening the noise and vibrations entering the cockpit.

To keep the Defender PRO models duty-motivated and work-centered, Can-Am has equipped their machines with a massive 2,500 lbs. towing capacity and a 1,7000 lbs. payload, along with 100 gallons of on-board storage.

The Defender PRO HD10 models come with three seats and in color variations of white and camo for the PRO OPS and black for the PRO XT. Both models are available now with pricing starting at $17,899 for the PRO OPS and $20,099 for the PRO XT.
