XC1 Pro – Motorcycle Report

After Charlie Mullins suffered an accident that has prevented him from racing through the season’s subsequent rounds, Kailub Russell has emerged as the clear and undisputed leader of the XC1 Pro class. Unadilla proved this once more as Russell led every single lap. The only racer who came close to passing him was Chris Bach, but due to several crashes, Bach didn’t even finish on the podium. Instead, Thad DuVall charged into 2nd after a crash dropped him back to 10th during the first lap. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC’s Josh Strang warded off several other contenders and finished on the podium in 3rd. This allowed him to move into 2nd overall for the season.

XC1 Pro – ATV Report

Up to this point, the 2014 season has largely been a battle between reigning champion Chris Borich and Walker Fowler. Borich gained a comfortable early lead in the season – as he has often done in the past – but Fowler has slowly chipped away at the points during the last few events. Unadilla was more of the same, as Fowler managed to take the victory and close the overall points gap on Borich (who took 2nd at the event). The real question mark that emerged during the race was who would take 3rd. Several riders vied for the spot, but it was Jarrod McClure who was finally able to take the final podium position.
