Rocky Mountain ATV/MC riders Thad Duvall and Nick Davis had a great weekend at the Mountain Ridge round of GNCC. Each took the overall in their class for MC. Jason Thomas and Cole Richardson were crowned the champions for each of the XC2 classes as well.
Robbie Bell clinched the motorcycle championship, even though Gary Sutherlin took the win for the race. Beau Baron beat out David Haagsma in the ATV class, and the two raced each other again in the SXS class, where Haagsma won and was followed by Ryan Piplic.
Round 4 of the SCORE World Desert Championship five-race series was held on Saturday, September 26 about 100 miles east of San Diego. Mark Samuels, Javier Robles, Wayne Matlock and each of their teams took the overall wins in their respective classes of MC, ATV and UTV.
With Justin Barcia, Jeremy Martin and Cooper Webb, Team USA was strong and ready for action at the 2015 MXoN. However, Team France included MXGP champion Romain Febvre, 250SX East champion Marvin Musquin, and MXoN defending champ Gautier Paulin. It was a close battle between the two teams.
