After releasing the ultra-aggressive RZR XP Turbo S earlier in 2018, Polaris has followed it up by introducing their 2019 UTV and ATV lineup of off-road vehicles. Updates were shared across the Ranger, General, and Sportsman lines, but the RZR family received the most-significant changes for the coming year.

RZR Family Updates for 2019

The most notable addition to the RZR family is a new lineup of Xtreme Performance machines. These machines are on the upper end of Polaris’s range of offerings and come with cutting-edge features that increase performance and the riding experience. The Xtreme Performance lineup also has updated, aggressive looks that include a newly designed grill, LED headlights, and LED accent lights that flank both sides of the new grill.

First, Polaris’s Ride Command, their connectivity, communication, and GPS suite, is now available as an option for every color of XP 1000 in the Xtreme Performance lineup. Previously, Ride Command was only available for the XP 1000 in the limited-edition blue colorway, but drivers now get the best functionality and appearance.

Another large change is that the Dynamix Suspension package is now available on select XP 1000 vehicles. Dynamix is an active suspension system that, unlike even the best traditional suspension, monitors itself and adjusts its performance hundreds of time a second, all based on the driver’s desired level of performance. Previously, this advanced suspension package was only available on certain turbo models of RZR, but XP 1000 drivers now have access to the same level of suspension performance.

Finally, Polaris introduced the RZR S4 1000, a 60 inch trail machine with 100 horsepower coming from a 1000cc ProStar engine. With a manageable width and powerful engine, the S4 is set to be king of the trails. So even though the S4 is not a part of the Xtreme Performance family, Polaris is making sure their new trail machine has plenty of power to take your crew on a trip through the trees.

Additional Updates

Polaris made several other updates to their General, Sportsman, and Ranger lines. You can see the full list of changes by reading the complete press release below, or by visiting the Polaris website.
