Bizrate Insights, one of the largest sources of reviews of online retailers, has announced the winners of its Bizrate® Circle of Excellence Award for 2020. This award highlights businesses that have maintained a high standard of customer service and received outstanding customer satisfaction scores from the previous year. It is always an honor to receive this award – 2020 marks the 10th time Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has won this award – but we’re more appreciative this year than ever before. 2020 was a uniquely difficult year for businesses and individuals alike, so to be recognized by our customers for our service during the unprecedented year fills us with gratitude for the industry we work in and riders we work for.

For over 35 years, customers have been the focus of our day-to-day operations and long-term goals at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. We’ve worked hard to become the trusted online source for high-quality riding gear and parts and accessories for dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, dual sport bikes and street motorcycles, as well as to maintain customer programs like:

Bizrate Insights works with online retailers like us by presenting meaningful metrics on the overall customer experience we provide. After a purchase with a participating company, customers are given the option to respond to a survey at the point of sale and after product delivery. Bizrate Insights gathers this data to provide valuable feedback to the retailers. What’s more, the company’s rating from those surveys is publicly displayed by Bizrate Insights. Ratings are based on a variety of customer-focused metrics:

  • Overall satisfaction
  • Product selection
  • Ease of finding products
  • Likelihood to purchase again
  • Expectations of product met
  • On-time delivery
  • Satisfaction with customer support

The recipients of the Bizrate® Circle of Excellence Award are showcased because of their ability to meet and exceed the expectations of their customers based on these metrics.

In 2020, only 8% of online retailers met the qualifications of the Bizrate® Circle of Excellence Award. Of those 123 retailers, only 57 were awarded the additional Platinum Circle of Excellence Award. To receive the platinum award, retailers had to score a minimum of 9.2 points out of 10 in the key satisfaction indicators. With the higher order volumes and new COVID protocols to adhere to, it took us a while to return back to our normal service levels. We feel as though we are back on track now, however, and processing the vast majority of our orders same day.
