Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Renews Sponsorship of the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross for 2020

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will be returning as a feature partner of the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross (RCSX) for 2020. This year marks the 11th consecutive year that Ricky Carmichael has hosted amateur riders in the iconic Daytona International Speedway.

RCSX is a 3-day amateur event like no other. Immediately following the Daytona Pro Supercross, aspiring professional racers are given a chance to take their turn around the track. With 34 different amateur classes and 39 different vintage classes, RCSX offers a wide variety of racing for every type of rider.

The event starts on Saturday evening, 3/7, with a vintage off-road motorcycle show in the FanZone of the Daytona Pro Supercross. For the registered racers, qualifying begins the following Sunday, 3/8, with the main events for all classes occurring on Monday, 3/9. All of the Daytona Vintage Supercross (DVSX) races take place on Tuesday, 3/10, alongside the exciting AMA ATV Pro Racing.

As a feature partner, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will award each competing racer a $20 Race Gas credit. Redeemable at the RockyMountainATVMC.com website, these e-credits are designed to help offset the costs of riding and racing.

“Supporting racing at the amateur level is something we’re extremely passionate about,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “We’re thrilled to sponsor this event for another year and give amateur racers the uncommon opportunity to race in a place as special to the sport as the Daytona International Speedway.”

“It’s great to partner with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC for the 11th annual RCSX,” said Ricky Carmichael, 5-time Daytona Supercross champion. “Companies like theirs help these young riders know that they’re supported and important to the sport. I’m grateful that we can work together to put on an event that gives amateur riders important experiences and opportunities to build their race craft.”

With the racing beginning on March 8, online pre-registration is open now until March 3 at https://secure.tracksideprereg.com/daytonasx/. For more information on the event, including a full class list and schedule, please visit https://racedaytona.com/.
