Pleasant weather greeted racers in Primm, NV, over the weekend, where the second WORCS round of 2015 took place. One unique thing about the race at Buffalo Bill’s was that the quads and motorcycles started together, but their tracks diverged at one point.

ATV Pro Report

If the first two races are any indication, it looks as though another championship could be coming Beau Baron’s way. Although he didn’t post the fastest lap time (an honor that belongs to David Haagsma), he was the only competitor in the class who kept his average lap time below eight minutes, allowing him to take the win. Haagsma placed 2nd and is next to Baron in the overall standings. Robbie Mitchell rounded out the podium in 3rd.

Motorcycle Pro Report

Robby Bell was back at it again at Buffalo Bill’s. He grabbed the holeshot and took off. This early lead proved to be an advantage that no one else was able to overcome. Bell’s biggest rival and the reigning champion, Gary Sutherlin, worked his way into 2nd, though he just wasn’t able to catch up to Bell. Justin Seeds managed to move up a few positions as well, finally catching up to and passing Justin Jones in the final laps. Seeds placed 3rd.

SXS Pro Report

David Haagsma took the lead with the holeshot. Beau Baron followed up in 2nd. On several occasions, Baron tried to pass, but Haagsma managed to maintain his position and ultimately ended with the win. Baron, on the other hand, flipped his RZR over in a turn. Perhaps even more incredibly, he was able to flip it right-side up again and continue the race, ultimately salvaging 3rd. Mitch Guthrie Jr. had a great race and was able to capitalize on Baron’s misfortunate, but he still couldn’t catch up to Haagsma. Guthrie placed 2nd.
